Ramen Kuroda Paseo Center — Restaurant in Makati

Waited 30 min to dine in here, cause i like the ramen here,I ordered set ramen and 2 ala cart ramen unfortunately my husband cant make it on time so i ask the staff if i can just take away the ramen,. then they said they don’t do it cause its already been done i told her kindly if she can just provide 2 take away boxes and i will do it my self as i want to seperate the soup , i also ask her she can charge me for the tapao box.As i started my first sip to the soup one staff came to me and told me next time they won’t allow to take away ramen in a seperate box . She told me they only serve ramen take away in 1 box and she is saying the quality will be different, i reply if i take away the ramen with the soup together do u think it will not overcook? I ask her kindly again that i will pay extra for the box. She insisted while I’m eating.I was hungry and excited to eat the ramen but my mood was ruined just because i ask for extra box ? You guys can inform me after the meal right?? They also serve wrong ramen and i told them it’s fine. You can be considerate next time I know your just doing your job but you can also be nice and not so rude. I feel so embarrassed and couldn't enjoy even finish my food just because of this...

My dining experience at Ramen Kuroda was an interesting one. I opted for their Curry Set, which included a curry meal with Shiro Ramen and sides of fruit, all for 380 PHP. At first glance, it seemed reasonable since I'd be getting two meals in one. The curry had a distinct gingery taste that reminded me of the instant curry roux I bought from the grocery store. Perhaps they use a similar base, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but I was hoping for a richer, meatier flavor. The side dish of cabbage was served at room temperature, and I couldn't help but think that a touch of mayonnaise might have added some much-needed acidity and richness to the stew. The Shiro Ramen, on the other hand, had that delightful porky flavor, and as the waiter mentioned, the soup base was lighter compared to others. It was still quite enjoyable. Would I come back? Certainly! But maybe on a day when my budget...

Service was ok, despite a service fee charged.

Not as attentive as I would have liked. For example, the female staff gave our party of four only three glasses of water, despite the fact that she had four glasses of water on her tray. She left without providing the fourth glass of water. When it was brought to her attention, she apologized and proceeded dispensed the 4th glass of water. It was bizarre, to say the least. Another example was NOT refilling our water. We had to flag her down to get water refilled.

You are charged a service fee, but there is no service provided.

The food was delicious. Rich in flavor and the grill was done to perfection.

I dont eat pork, and I wish there were more non-pork selection.

Would recommend this place for the food, not for the service. Take out is better to avoid useless service fee that's...
