The menu at The Fat Seed Cafe is diverse and well-curated, featuring a range of dishes that cater to various tastes and dietary preferences. Breakfast options include hearty dishes like avocado toast, eggs benedict, and fluffy pancakes, all of which are beautifully presented and packed with flavor. For lunch and dinner, the menu expands to include a variety of sandwiches, salads, pastas, and mains. The cafe’s signature dishes, such as their succulent burgers and flavorful pastas, are particularly noteworthy. One of the highlights of The Fat Seed Cafe is its coffee and beverage selection. The cafe takes pride in its coffee offerings, serving expertly brewed espresso drinks and unique coffee creations that are sure to please any coffee enthusiast. Additionally, the selection of teas, smoothies, and fresh juices provides a refreshing complement to any meal. The service at The Fat Seed Cafe is commendable. The staff is attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. They are quick to offer recommendations and ensure that your dining experience is pleasant from start to finish. Their warm and accommodating nature adds to the overall positive experience at the cafe. While the food and service at The Fat Seed Cafe are excellent, the cafe can get quite busy during peak hours. This sometimes results in longer wait times for a table, but the staff does their best to manage the crowd efficiently. It’s advisable to visit during off-peak times or make a reservation if you’re planning to dine during busier periods. In summary, The Fat Seed Cafe in Greenbelt, Makati, is a delightful dining destination that combines great food, a cozy atmosphere, and excellent service. We decided to try The Fat Seed Café + Roastery in Greenbelt after seeing it recommended by Tatler Asia. My search for pet-friendly cafés led us here, so of course, I brought my adorable doggy along for the experience. Ambiance & Service: Yes, they’re genuinely pet-friendly! My doggy was allowed inside the air-conditioned area, which is a huge plus for fur parents like me. The staff, however, left me with mixed feelings—while they weren’t unfriendly, their service lacked the warmth and attentiveness that would make the experience feel truly welcoming. Food & Coffee: The affogato I ordered was the highlight. The espresso, with its bold and rich flavor, paired beautifully with the vanilla extract ice cream. However, I was a little disappointed that the espresso was pre-poured over the ice cream, robbing me of the tactile joy of pouring it myself—a small detail, but one that makes a difference. The mushroom omelet was decent but not standout. The addition of truffle oil overshadowed the natural umami of the mushrooms, a detail I found unfortunate. Knowing that most truffle oils are synthetic, it detracted from the dish’s authenticity. Additionally, the eggs were cooked on the firmer side, likely for safety, but at the expense of texture. Overall: The café gets points for being truly pet-friendly, offering my adorable doggy a comfortable and relaxed space. While the food and coffee had their moments, the lack of standout flavors and a touch of overprocessed elements held back the experience. Nonetheless, it’s a pleasant spot for a coffee break, especially for fur parents. 🐶☕

Went here twice. Last December 30, we ordered, brownies, affogato, coffee cubes, chocolate chip, and french toast. Food was really good, however crowd was a bit busy and noisy during our visit due to holiday rush. Ordered the same thing on Jan 12 without the french toast as we were full already. This time, the vibe is a little bit chill. Food: Brownie: Serving size was enough for its taste, it was way TOO SWEET but you can still taste the salty part as well. I am not complaining, I just can’t stop eating it. Just don’t eat it too fast lol. I’m just curious why the first time I went here it had no chocolate syrup drizzled. 10/10 French Toast: I love this. Don’t eat when you’re full already. Might order it again next time. 10/10 Affogato: Just like any other affogato, nothing’s really new. I just wish I could pour the espresso myself. Mid, but I like it since the the ice cream doesn’t melt really fast. 8/10 Chocolate Chip: Soft, sweet, super like it. Curious if they sell it on boxes but might ask soon. 9/10 Coffee Cubes: 8/10 Will come back here for brownies and affogato. They’re my go to restaurant for dessert when I’m in Greenbelt.

Servers hold and serve the plates with dirty thumbs inside the plate, touching our food. This is a food safety no no and is not negotiable. This isn't best practice.

Menus were not provided to us. After waiting for some time, we got up and got our own menus for our table of three.

Also, when we were seated, it should be automatic that water should be served. We had to get up and get our own water ourselves. Amazingly, they do charge a service fee. An additional fee that isn't justified, considering how they lack basic and fundamental service (giving out menu books, serving water, orders came in split and delayed).

Lastly, the meals were served at different times on our table of three. Thus, one had their meal while the other two had to wait for a long time. It made for an unpleasant experience as we were supposed to eat together. We waited what seemed like eternity until all the orders came in before we finally digged in. Is it too much for the kitchen to bring our orders together? Yet they charge a service fee.

There is a lot of logistic execution that must be mastered here by management. Too many staff were going about un-coordinated with no sense of direction.

We spent $45 for our brunch. Our experience was poor because the store's service was poorly executed.

Close the store for one week and train the staff on the basics of best practice methodologies. Especially focus on food safety, customer journey,...
