#disrespectfulcrew :)

it happened yesterday. april 7 2023

we decided to check out Cha cha's because my tita wanted to have dinner there(she wanted to eat at cha cha's because she said she found great reviews)

my husb and 6yo girl walks fast, so i told the rest of the family that we'll go ahead and call them if we find cha cha's and after 7mins of walking we did found it.

we were standing there waiting to be attended.

then this guy went closer, raised his eyebrows and instead of greeting us, he said "yes, ma'am??"

i said "is it alright to go straight(inside) or do i need a reservation to dine?"

he asked how many were we, and i said we're a family of 10. he then said, that they're full and they also have a reservation of 10 anytime now. so i asked if he could at least give me a time when i can come back (because a group of girls before us was talking to a different crew and was told to wait for a moment, and they'd call them if the table is ready)

but that guy just said "mmm... I don't know...not sure.." a kind of face like he doesn't want me or us there lol

my husband and my 6 y.o. kid decided to sit on the beach for a few minutes to wait for my tita and the rest of the family to arrive.

it probably just took less than 5 minutes when my tita called us and asked where were we because they were already inside Cha Cha's!?

like, lol what?

when we went back there i saw him again and i looked at him but he was avoiding eye contact. if you "look" like you can't afford it, you don't get to sit there. that's the feeling they gave us last night. a big smile for the foreigners, a frown...

It was a rainy morning in Boracay, and since I skipped breakfast, I decided to stop by this beachfront restaurant for lunch — and I’m glad I did.

Ambiance The setting was beautiful and very laid-back. I sat right by the beach, enjoying the relaxing ocean view and fresh breeze. The table and chair setup fit the tropical vibe perfectly, and the music was just right — not too loud, creating a calm and easygoing atmosphere.

Service The service was excellent. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and attentive without being intrusive. They checked in at the right times and made the experience feel smooth and pleasant.

Food & Drinks I ordered the fresh spring rolls and a pizza, and both were delicious. The spring rolls came with a peanut-style sauce that was rich, flavorful, and paired beautifully with the fresh ingredients. The pizza dough was another highlight — soft, with a light crisp on the outside, and clearly made fresh. To go with it, I had an Aperol Spritz, which was refreshing and went perfectly with the warm beach weather.

Price The prices were reasonable, especially for a beachfront location. Given the quality of food, service, and the setting, it felt like good value.

Overall I had a great experience having lunch here. The food, the service, and the beachfront ambiance all came together nicely. Whether you’re stopping by for a full meal or just want to relax with a drink and enjoy the view, this place is definitely worth a visit. I’d...

Lovely place, delicious looking menu and friendly staff. Two issues; several items on the menu weren't available and while hummus was missing, we instead asked for extra vegetables in our whole grain bowl salad, esp endamame beans. There were none of those either, as advertised, but not acknowledged when we ordered. Irritating, but not the end of the world. Asked for the bill, which still hadn't arrived after 15 mins' waiting. Went inside to pay, only to find the manager trying to work out a bunch of books, as "the computer system was broken". Having to add up four items and add on service seemed too difficult a task, so another 10 mins lapsed. The card terminal was "broken" too, but eventually one was found, as I was short of cash.

Nice place, good food, but desperately inefficient if all you want is a quick lunch.

Update Returned here for a coffee and banana waffles for breakfast. Coffee was excellent, but waffle arrived minus bananas. Upon enquiring, we were told they had run out of banana... In Boracay, in The Philippines... This place has great potential but is monumentally...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Cha Cha Boracay, and it was an experience to remember. The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to unwind after a day at the beach. The menu offered a delightful mix of local and international dishes, catering to a variety of tastes and preferences. Each dish was presented beautifully and the flavors were exceptional, showcasing the skill and passion of the culinary team. The service was top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff ensuring a memorable dining experience. A special mention must go to their ube champorado, which was a standout dish for me. This unique take on a traditional Filipino breakfast was both comforting and indulgent. The rich ube flavor, combined with the creamy texture of the champorado, made it an absolute treat for the taste buds. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting Cha Cha Boracay. Overall, Cha Cha Boracay exceeded my expectations, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience in Boracay.

Really nice food and drinks. Lovely views of the beach. Friendly staff. Excellent service. Nice atmosphere, cool music. Good choice on the menu from salad to pizza, burgers, seafood and more. The first time I went, I had the 'The Taco Truck' which were three small tortillas served with tortilla chips, fresh cilantro, pickles and two salsas. I opted for the grilled fish of the day as my filling. The second time I had the ceviche of the day. Both were really good. Very fresh and I enjoyed both meals. The tortillas were light and healthy and not like the ones you get in the USA, that are loaded with cheese and other unhealthy ingredients. Drinks are good too. I don't drink alcohol but the calamansi and lychee soda and Cha Cha's iced tea were very refreshing. The latter a little sweet, but still good. Clean. There are limited seats outside but more inside. The complimentary WIFI works reasonably well. Would recommend for sure.
