Terrible service. At 2PM, I had reserved a spot at 6PM for 7pax and requested the table overlooking the sunset (the veranda on the second floor). Given their complicated reservation requirements (downpayment, preorder, etc.), I expected a smooth reservation. However, the staff at the second floor was not aware of this, and had seated my brother at the couch area (note: my brother stayed behind at the restaurant while we did water activities). My brother initially asked me where to sit and I told them the staff already know (they didn’t). You would expect that they would have told the staff on the upper floor who, mind you, didn’t even know there was a reservation in the first place. After hearing about this when I came back, I had confronted the staff on the first floor about the situation. They initially REFUSED to take accountability and said that my brother wouldn’t have sat there if he didn’t agree to it. TWICE!!!! The lady I initially spoke to regarding the reservation was under the impression that I had “changed my mind” and decided to sit on the couch. If it wasn’t for the downpayment (which they wouldn’t give back 100%, only 50%) and the preorder, I would have ditched and went to a different restaurant. My brother told me if only they dished out the “RESERVED” sign at the very beginning, considering they KNEW my brother was going up to take a seat at the table (I had told the lady if my brother could stay and wait for us upstairs), he would have known where to sit. I wouldn’t have been this pissed if the food was good but it was mid at best. Chips were stale, the spaghetti bolognese had little to no flavor, the patty from the smashed burger (which was apparently their bestseller) was dry, and the crust of the pizza was inconsistent (some parts tasted like cardboard). The only good thing here was the oyster, which was admittedly...
Read moreBeachfront location, looked to have a good menu and atmosphere. The first place in all of the Philippines where they didn’t have any diet or zero drinks. We ordered alternative beverages but asked our server if we could go purchase Coke Zero in a nearby shop and drink it on the premises which he had no issue with.
Initially we ordered tacos and sweet potato chips to share for starters. The tacos took over 25 minutes. These were tasty, so they were worth the wait but in general the service is very slow.
We then ordered a main to share, the hickory chicken said it was suitable for 2 people sharing, neither myself nor my fiancé have huge appetites but we were both still quite hungry as we approached the end of our meal. So much so, that we ordered another main course to share - the hickory bbq ribs (again said to be a sufficient amount of food for 2 people) and which we easily finished. We’ve had much nicer ribs, these had to be pulled off the bone rather than the fall off the bone we’ve gotten in other establishments in Boracay.
Overall, a little...
Read moreI recently visited Jammers Beach Shack Boracay with my family, and we had an amazing time! The staff were super friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home from the moment we walked in.
But the real star of the show was the food - oh my goodness, the burgers were SO juicy and flavorful! We tried the OG burger, and it was love at first bite. The patty was cooked to perfection, and the toppings were fresh and generous.
We also tried the Hawaiian pizza, which was a surprise hit - the combination of ham and pineapple was perfect, and the crust was crispy and delicious. And the pasta dishes were also a highlight, with generous portions and flavorful sauces.
The atmosphere was also top-notch, with a fun and lively vibe that made us feel like we were on a beach vacation. The decor was unique, and the music was upbeat and relaxing.
Overall, we would highly recommend Jammers Beach Shack Boracay to anyone looking for delicious food and a fun atmosphere in a beautiful beach setting. Can't wait to come back and try more of their...
