Lemoni Café and Restaurant — Restaurant in Malay

Read plenty of positive reviews about this cafe and I chose this to surprise my friends for a late birthday celebration.

Place - cozy and cool ambiance. It's an open cafe type and guests could walk in and choose a table. The tables were clean and the seats were comfortable. It was Saturday evening when we visited but lucky us that it wasn't crowded and got to sit instantly when we arrived. Considering it's located in D'Mall.

Staff - hands down to them for being accommodating and granting my request. Ordered three cakes and requested the two to have personalized birthday greetings. They delivered! They even provided candles and a lighter (we didn't get to light the candles as we were seated below the ceiling fan)

Food - not budget friendly but I'd say the cakes were worth the price. We each had different cakes. The signature Lemon meringue was sour and best paired with hot drinks.

I stopped for breakfast one morning and went back another time as it was really nice. Good menu from all day breakfast to big salads, wraps, pasta, fresh fruit juices and more. I had heard that they were also known for their freshly baked pastries and breads. I opted for the plain croissant with butter and jam the first time I went. The croissant was lightly warmed, flaky, buttery and comforting. It came with butter and jam. The second time I went, I had the eggs your style with homemade bread. I chose poached eggs and got three perfectly poached eggs with bread that was warm and soft. The butter melted on the bread. So comforting. To drink I had a hot black brewed coffee both times. So good. Coffee was spot on. Staff were very friendly and pleasant. Really good service. Clean. Nice place. Bright and summery with the mainly white decor. The Lemoni Cafe is located at Dmall, right in the center of Boracay, just some steps from the White Beach sand and opened in 2005. Since then, it has delighted all the healthy culinary enthusiasts passing through the island. They open early morning, 7am and go until 11pm, serving all meals: breakfast, lunch, dinner, desserts, juices, shakes, coffees, beers and drinks.
