Itâs very great location, facing the beach and great spot to watch sunset too. An outdoor restaurant and itâs within the Henann Regency area. My feedbacks đService - very friendly and attentive staff. Will always greet you with warm smile. đMenu - they are more on local filipino food options which I believe great place to go when you want to taste the local dishes. đQuality and portion - Weâve ordered mixed vegetables and pancit guisado with halo-halo as our dessert. Overall experience, as a local - for me nothing so special about the dishes but the main good thing, the food tasted as Filipino style which is good đ. And as for portion, I would say generous; can be shared for 2. Like hubby and I, we donât eat that much and normally wonât need rice every meal thus, small order already good for us. Halo-halo is good but different from what Iâm used to nonetheless, taste đ đPrice - well, I would say average if youâre having your meals around beach area. Definitely above the price, if you are on the budget like 150php/meal daily. We paid more or less 1k. Overall happy customers, and definitely you can consider to have your meals here especially if you are looking for...
Read moreOur first meal in Boracay was at this restaurant. Before arriving, I didnât have high expectations for Filipino cuisine, thinking it might not suit my taste. But the food here surprised usâit was absolutely delicious!**
During our three-day stay on the island, most restaurants served heavy grilled meats, which became quite overwhelming. For our final meal, we chose this place again. Their large food platter (only 1,450 PHP) was the most affordable yet tastiest meal we had in the Philippinesâevery dish was fantastic!
What made it even more special was the live singer who kindly performed a song from our home country. We were so touched! The staff also went above and beyondâtheir attentive service and detailed recommendations truly elevated our experience. It was the perfect ending to our already amazing Boracay trip.
The 7 PM fire dance show was spectacular too! Everything was just outstanding. I fell in love with Boracay and will definitely returnâthis restaurant will be a...
Read moreMesa, they lost it in translation. The Filipino Moderne food they claim is not Modern at all , but an Abstraction of the Pilipino Palette.
Fusion food is fine as long it has a cultural connection and understanding to its origins. Too much of fusion is confusion .
The food we order are all the popular items in their menu. The Bangus Sisig is not a Sisig at all. It is oily crunchy fried flakes of floured pieces of fish. No hint of acidity and of any ingredients that taste Sisig. Not sure why itâs even labeled Sisig .
The pomelo salad as recommended is totally dry and mixed with weird creamy dressing that add no flavor to the dish. The baby squid in olive oil lacks flavor and bland. The tinapa rice with fish flakes , red egg , and tomatoes is not worth the price.
As told , the Mesa in Boracay has the same food standards with their other branches. If this is the case, Mesa to us is a disappointment. No wonder the restaurant has lots of vacant tables most...
