I went to this restaurant for the first time during a holiday, attracted by the pleasant atmosphere created by the musical group playing live. I would like to start by saying that the aperitif was not good at all, the cocktail ordered had no flavor . In the meantime, we ordered some French fries which where not properly fried and then we ordered two different pizzas including a margerita (the menu contains a good part of typical Italian dishes and considering the name of the place which suggests an italian owner and being Italian I had good expectations) what arrived were two badly cooked pizzas whose flavors were not good . The four cheese pizza was very heavy and the cheeses used were very strong, the margerita on the other hand was almost unrecognizable, little tomato sauce not tasty, a lot of cheese (not mozzarella) and a lot of oregano added on top instead of basil together with some raw yellow tomatoes cut into slices . The location looks good and has good potential but in general the quality of the food/drinks for what we tried needs to be improved a lot, especially considering the price not really cheap here in...
Read moreMy family and I came here for a little drink after dinner and before going back to our hotel during our Boracay stay. Honestly, the food is OK. Of course because its Boracay, the prices are jacked crazy high, so the price range was probably already considered normal there, so the sisig and rings we had were nothing to write home about. However, I will commend the staff for being so accommodating and patient. We got 2 buckets of drinks and arrived around close to 11. We asked what time they were closing and they said 12. We stayed just up to closing time but they never were rude to us or urged us to hurry up. They were also very open to our questions and requests, so good job to the employees! They also try their best to keep the place clean but tbh with the monsoon happening at the time, sand was covering the floor, but this is literally a beachfront establishment so it makes sense. The place is a mix of a restaurant and a bar so one table could be having family dinner and the next could have 5 guys drinking. It was a strange sight but the vibe was chill enough for both to exist at...
Read moreWe decided to have our new years eve dinner here and was pleasantly surprised. We have passed by this restaurant multiple times during our stay in Boracay but we were ignoring it because we were prioritising seafood grills as we don't have much of that in the UK. The ambiance was great, they were busy on new year's eve and the restaurant was packed. I ordered the slow roasted pork belly and calamari as an appetizer without much expectation. My wife ordered the Don Vitos carbonara which is more of an American style carbonara. I loved both and was really happy with the quality of the food. I have to mention the general manager of the hotel. She was very accommodating and she assisted us when my nephew had a little accident. I would definitely consider their hotel in my next stay.
Oh and the band was also good compared to the...
