Escape, Alona Beach Bar — Restaurant in Panglao

I have been reading some of the negative comments in the reviews below which I find incredible. I spent 3 weeks in Bohol frequenting Escape Bar, the best bar by far in Bohol. I witnessed many times customers querying bills which in my opinion was people trying to get a discount as too mean to pay what they had spent. The staff are excellent, all friendly and very hard working. Every order is written down so there can be no mistake in the drinks order and the bill is broken down when presented to the customer. I think these people complaining are doing so to get a free drink or meal as I have seen many times in the managements reply. I think the management should be believing the staff not these miserable people disputing every bill. I also witnessed so many times the girls continually serving large tables of customers and them scrutinising their bill and giving no tip, absolute shocking. The drinks and food are cheap and if they can find a better bar, they should go there and pay higher prices and have poorer service. In future I would think twice about these people who complain, especially insinuating they have been scammed, what a load of lies. You give free shots and one night I witnessed one female have 7 free shots and not buy a drink! Thankfully your bar gets 95%, 5/5 stars and that should tell you everything how the bar is run. I felt I had to comment as its customers trying to scam your bar for free dinks or meals. I look forward to visiting your excellent bar again next time...

Cheap and Good place to chill infront of the beach. Free play of billiards 2 games only. The only thing I dont like is the integrity of the Staff. I know this sounds too much but still you are paying whether it is a small amount or what.

I ordered Dynamite in the Menu shows 8pcs the gave us only 7pcs. I went to the counter/bar asked the girl how many pcs the Dynamite should be she say 8pcs then I say its only 7pcs. She went to the kitchen after 5minutes they say they just recently made some changes it is now 7pcs only. I say it shows in the menu 8pcs and they double check it and still insist. The fact that the girl in bar know it is 8pcs and their menu is already new ( I know cos their Menu is new compare to the last time I visited).

Also if they change the menu and pcs of the Dynamite there should be briefing or they will say beforehand once we order so we will not be surprised.
