Food is good, no complaints - meat shawarma uses far less vegetable than falafel, though. As well, even though the menu lists Pita as an option, it has never been available any of the times I went.
However, one of the staff is very creepy. He consistently stares at me and will look away whenever I look at him staring. I find this quite rude and annoying as he appears to be a cook but is doing no cooking of any kind…. I have noticed that he also stares at any other woman in the store, and they don’t seem to be comfortable with his gawking either.
My issue with this establishment is specifically the above mentioned member of the staff. Last time I went the staring was relentless and I felt quite uncomfortable. Even when I walked out of the shop to wait outside, he followed and continued to stare. Even waiting at a spot farther down the street, he was peeping his head out the door and staring.
Due to this staff member alone, I will not be returning to this place. I don’t care to be gawked at while trying to get what is usually very good kebab.
And if you’re going to stare that much, at least give me a...
Read moreOMG.. I have been across Poland and this is... not even close.. the best shwerma I've had hands down!!! My friend and I have been trying to find a place that's anywhere near comparable to shwarma we have had in other countries and every place we've eaten one was different levels of bad... This one was phenomenal and the man who made it for me was the nicest man. I actually ordered chicken because I've been so let down by the beef lamb that I didn't want to waste my time on another one... But when I saw the fat dripping down from the top I'm like can I upgrade and he kindly upgraded me to the beef lamb... And I can only say I'm glad I'm leaving Krakow today... Or I would be here every day getting one of these. If you're anywhere near this place, make sure you stop in. It is the only review I'm leaving for any place take out places I've eaten Poland. So take that for what it's worth. Oh and the ice cream here also really good and very cheap so take one of those when you...
Read moreThis is not the typical kebab you would eat on other places...this is Shawerma. A great middle eastern street food you would find more in Egypt, Syria and Lebanon. Though from outside it might look as the normal Turkish kebab...this is a totally new experience. The staff is very friendly and customer oriented. I asked them to prepare my sandwich in a specific way...how I eat it back at my hometown and they gladly did it. Very good value for money. Don't go for the large sandwich unless you are really starving...the medium size was so loaded with meat that I could hardly finish it. The meat itself is different here....it tastes like meat not fake as in "Kebab" places.
If you want to experience how I asked them to prepare mine...then ask for the beef, mix onions and tomatoes with the meat to get it slightly cooked..add tahini sauce at the end and fresh cilantro. For me I asked for a bit of extra salt that gives it a totally different...
