The food here is great! Unfortunately I cannot give five over five due to some inconveniences with the staff. About the food. We were two and shared 2 soups: "Żur z kiełbasą, ziemniakiem oraz jajkiem w czarce chlebowej" (served in a bread) and "Grzybowa z domowymi łazankami". Both of them were delicious, even if I did like more the second soup. This, we shared a plate of 15 pierogi (polish dumplings), i.e. "Micha pierogowa (pierogi z mięsem, pierogi z kapustą, pierogi ruskie)". This dish was supposed to have 5 pierogi with meat, 5 with cabbage and 5 with a mix of cheese an onion. These were among the best boiled pierogi I had in Poland! About staff. It was very friendly and, since when we got inside there were not free seats, they explained we had to wait. Generally I did like how the team members worked. But, when we were served the pierogi we noticed that the meat ones were missing. We asked for explanation or if there was a mistake. A waitress apologised saying they were not serving pierogi with meat. It should be the waiter's job to communicate with the client about any change in the menu, *before* and not after the food is served. Last thing that we did not like was the long waiting time between the time the plates were cleared and when we received the bill. Conclusions. Food 5/5 Service 4/5

It is a very good place with delicious Polish food! We came to this restaurant for dinner for two on Saturday evening in August. Despite the ongoing work in the ground in the Old Market Square, it was possible to take one free table. However, it is worth making a reservation in advance. The food was very good and the service was very nice. Only the soup soaked into the bread very quickly, which was probably due to the fact that the center was not completely drained. If someone likes it like that, okay, but I prefer liquid soup. The waitress was smiling and very nice. I would hire her myself if I had a restaurant! However, coming to the table four times during a dinner is too often. It would be enough to come once or after the meals have been eaten. A treat in the form of two glasses of tincture was a very nice gesture. However, we were so full that we could not try this delicacy. It is worth the treat at the beginning, maybe the guests would order more. There are works going on in the area, so temporarily the surroundings are not conducive to romantic dinners for two. Overall, we are satisfied with the food and service. Rating 4.5.

The food was certainly tasty, although I've had much better Polish food before, especially when it's homemade. The portion size for the price was a bit disappointing, particularly in terms of the amount of cabbage and potatoes provided. Additionally, I noticed the staff seemed eager to clear the table as soon as I finished eating. I would have enjoyed staying longer, but I couldn't help but feel that the overall atmosphere and interior design could have been significantly improved. Given the chance, I would have been more than willing to spend extra money and order more dishes if I believed the experience justified it. While the prices were undoubtedly on the higher side, there's definitely room for improvement in several areas. The crowded and uncomfortable environment did impact my enjoyment. It felt more akin to a diner rather than a restaurant that aims to provide both good food and a memorable experience. The staff's welcoming nature was appreciated, although there's potential to make guests feel even more comfortable during their stay, encouraging them to linger a bit longer.

5 stars for the food, it was amazing! The place will certainly make you fall in love with Polish cuisine, especially if that’s something new for you. However, I was really disappointed to see how the guest sitting / management is done. No matter if you’re waiting in a queue for 30-40 minutes, a call from someone booking the table seems to be prioritised first. So it can end up being a person waiting for a free table, while a few free tables are waiting for the reservations. Given that you come in a busy time of the day. Moreover, the waiters seem to not be able to handle the high demand from the guests. While standing in a line, my requests were ignored or forgotten about a couple of times. When getting to the payment, we had 3 extra items in the bill, which we didn’t order, especially considering that there were only 2 of us. It’s good that we noticed the total being much higher than expected. And one of the waiters dropped a glass with wine or something just near our table, it’s good that there was no damage or splashes of any kind.

The white soup with sour milk is incredible but the pierogis were a letdown - really bland and oily. We got a mix but if you had to pick one the meat one was marginally a bit better.. The latkas was undercooked and the goulash was pretty dry. Portion sizes are massive. The seating is quite cramped and the seats could do with a repair and it's quite difficult to get to the toilets due to a huge coat rack in the way. We didnt have a reservation but was told we get an hour and 15 mins to dine and it was always busy. Food came out quickly but it was hard to get additional service / getting the bill at the end. You get a cherry vodka shot in the end which wasn't too strong and was pretty tasty. We went in December and there are beautiful decorations around. Sitting near the door could be a cold experience

I've been to many restaurants in Poznan.... well maybe in 5 let's say ;) All of them were very good but this one is outstanding. Food delicious, zander very good, lard and pickled cucumbers made by professionals. And totally sensational boletes in cream sauce with onions served in a small pot. To finish, we each got a glass of light and good cherry liquor. The decor of the restaurant simple and solid, a little reminiscent of highland inns, I liked very much. Last but not least - the waiter service, which is flawless, friendly and smiling. We were convinced that the gentleman who served us would mix up something in the order, because there were several of us, and everyone made some changes to the dishes on the menu. But no! Everything was served exactly as we ordered - respect! I highly recommend it!
