We came back to this place exactly one year later, we had the best memories and looked forward to a delicious breakfast, served by friendly staff, in a quite, green place in the middle of a big city. Unfortunately the place changed much and we have to correct our review from the highest ranking a year ago, there isn't much left of the genuine place, and we miss it greatly. They are playing now loud music, even in the outdoor part, which is now next to a workshop, where your breakfast is accompanied by grinding wheels. Of course telling the guy with the grinder to cut steel more quietly isn't an option, but turning down the music would be a valuable one. But the latter wasn't even possible, the so-called business manager (a hipster lady with a baseball cap and a bathrobe, no further comments needed :) told us she would try to "do something". Nothing happended at all. We told the waitress we would leave if she wouldn't turn down the music and thanks to her the level was decreased and we stayed to have breakfast. The quite atmosphere is gone, service stuff is conducting business phone calls next to our table, really not the same place anymore. The breakfast menus changed much, and there is nothing left of the former place we missed so much. Not a single menu with polish white cheese, only hipster beagles and vegan stuff. The food wasn't bad but compared to the breakfast " feast" we had a year ago, it changed for the bad. We are very sorry for loosing such a nice place we used to eat breakfast. We are lucky that there are more places like...
Read more!!BASED ON OUR VISIT, I CANNOT WHOLEHEARTEDLY RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS!! We had booked a table a week prior to our visit on December 23 and were very excited, as my husband and I had visited them a few years back. I was accompanied by my husband and two of our kids. Upon our arrival at 18:20, the restaurant was nearly empty, yet we still had to wait to be seated. After a few minutes, we were given menu cards and informed that the kitchen would be closing at 19. I had not been informed about this when receiving the booking confirmation. We rushed to place our order, selecting drinks, 2 starters, soup, 3 main dishes, and a salad.
We waited precisely 55 minutes before being served, despite the fact that the restaurant had only about 4 tables occupied during this time. I had to inquire twice about the status of our food. Everything arrived at the same time, including both starters and main courses. When I inquired about my salad, the waiter said, "I will check," but he never returned with an update; I had to ask again. It turned out that the kitchen had forgotten, and there were no apologies or indications that it would be prepared soon.
While the food was alright, with a pleasant shrimp pasta, the bruschetta was the most poorly made I have ever encountered. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. Save yourself sometime and pick some...
Read moreStrongly I do not recommend this place!!! I received a drink today that was basically a pure water and the waiter apologized and promised to deduct 50% from the next ordered drink. So I ordered wine but unfortunately when the waiter brought us the bill she said she needs to take all the promised discount back as - after a while of consideration her decided he will not give this discount after all... The waiter was embarassed and said "it is 69 PLN for you and that is it" and said to us that her boss is an idiot and just disappeared after I paid [seriously?..]. The ordered food was also made of cheapest ingredients and disappointed us. People sitting two tables next to us waited for like 20 minutes till the waiter finally appeared to take the order. This people also complained loudly about the poor performance of the restaurant's staff. Dear Weranda Stary Browar or rather the Weranda family - if you cant keep up with your own success do not add new venues to your business but try to maintain what you have- as your service is going down and what is left is just...
