AVOID - Minus stars for a disgusting aggressive owner and very hostile crowd. We had a terrible experience in this bar. We walked in to a lively atmosphere with music playing and lots of people. We went down the back and then went to use the toilets before getting a drink. As I was pushing the door open I was pulled by my jacket hood. Confronted by abusive language and told to leave. As I was walking out the owner then turned on my boyfriend, shouting at him. The music stopped and the crowd became aggressive towards us. I had walked out my boyfriend following, he was blocked at the door and when I tried to return the door was LOCKED. He was inside surrounded by aggressive drunk thugs I was outside. Most of the tables were still dirty because they hadn't been cleared yet. We found one to sit at and had to wait for ages before someone finally took our order. Then this happened.

Apparently the staff is 'sick to death of coffees' which was of course not meant for us. 'You weren't supposed to hear that.' Well, maybe you shouldn't have said it after walking by when your collegue just took our coffee order after we waited ten minutes without anyone paying attention to us.

Then we got our coffee, both a double espresso. The coffee cups obviously hadn't been cleaned: multiple dried up drops of coffee were visible on the outside of the coffee cup. Gross. The 'double espresso' tasted like a...

Eddie, Phil and Paulo are great hosts, they make you feel right at home. The food is very good (English and Portuguese food) and they have a wide range of drinks. This is like a typical English bar with plenty of banter and laughs. If youre looking for football they have 2 screens and all the channels, They have karaoke and great entertainment. If you want to go somewhere that looks after you this is the place for you. I would highly recommend this place to anyone. I'll be sorry to go home on the 11th Sept but i cannot wait to return for...
