Where do I begin... the food is absolutely outstanding. I thought I had good shakshukas on the past, and then this takes it to a whole other level. The dish is on the heavier side, since I think I found four egg yolks while I was eating, but I’m not going to complain. I saw a stack of their vegan chocolate pancakes go by, so my gluttony took over and also ordered that to go. Usually vegan food is overly seasoned (too salty or too sweet) to avoid being labeled as bland, so I was pleasantly surprised when I took a bite and it was just flavorful enough. What surprised me was the texture: it seemed very similar to glutinous rice (mochi-like), with a bit of a fine grainy-ness to it too. The “homemade nutella sauce” was also creamy and grainy and nutty, without feeling overly heavy. The pancakes also tasted amazing the next day when taken directly out of the fridge, and felt more like a dessert at that point. All in all, I would definitely be going through all of their food items if I was around longer. Their continental breakfast platters also seemed really popular, so I would probably try that next if I had the stomach space to (or find a friend to split with). Don’t expect amazingly speedy service though - they are way too busy for their own good, but the wait is worth it (and it’s honestly not that bad). Come here for the food and people watching. Go to a fine dining establishment if you want impeccably fast service.

Manifest Lisbon is a brunch lover's paradise, and our recent visit there was nothing short of fantastic. We arrived at 9 AM on a Friday and were seated immediately, well before the morning rush. By 10 AM, the place was bustling, with a line forming out the door, which speaks volumes about its popularity. The menu offerings were exceptional. We indulged in Portuguese style eggs, fluffy pancakes paired with eggs and bacon (the bacon was wonderfully soft, just how I like it), and potato pancakes accompanied by a side of bacon. Every dish was well-executed, displaying both skill and attention to detail. Plus, the servings are generously big—we all ate half and happily took the remainder home for lunch. For drinks, the Matcha latte was authentically bitter, which I appreciated, though you might want to ask for sugar if that's your preference. The Green Detox smoothie was a revelation—infused with ginger that enhanced rather than overpowered, making it something I could enjoy every day. The café itself boasts a chic, dark decor with a smart layout. Inside, there are only three large tables, but smaller tables for two can be cleverly combined to accommodate larger groups. There's also outdoor seating available, adding to the charm. Overall, Manifest Lisbon delivers a superb dining experience with its delightful food and vibrant atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a top-notch brunch in Lisbon!

5 stars for the amazing food! But I’d give 4 stars for the service as we sat unattended at our table for about 15 minutes after being sat and the server only came over when we flagged him down. But, about that food: SIMPLY DELICIOUS. And cheap! We ordered the Turkish eggs: so unique and flavorful (however, it looks like it comes with a bagel… If you’ve had a real bagel in your life, I must warn you, this is NOT a bagel. It’s bagel-shaped bread); the french toast, which was the best french toast I’ve ever tried in my life, topped with super sweet, fresh strawberries; and the croissant with bacon and eggs (I didn’t try this but my father said it was tasty). Everything is of very high quality, generous portions, and so SO inexpensive! I should also mention the decor. This place is adorably decorated, very hipster with mismatching furniture and silverware. Fun art on the walls. And there’s a pretty large outdoor patio as well. We didn’t order any of the brunch meals, but they looked amaaaaazing. You can understand why this places is so busy. By the time we left on a Thursday morning, there was a line out the door, so I recommend arriving before 10:30am!
