Stop Schnitzel-fooling your most loyal customers!!!

I used to come here and love your schnitzel. When I recently got a whole bunch of friends for a schnitzel dinner to your restaurant, we were shocked that this dish is only available for lunch any longer (to trick people into coming for lunch, or why?!).

The waitress said we have to come back for lunch another day. I just came another day for lunch, and once again you left me Schnitzel-less for no apparent reason.

Stop playing your silly business games, and stop fooling your loyal customers!! Schnitzel is a dish that is traditionally eaten in evenings as it’s way too heavy for lunchtime.

Massive disappointment!!!

[Edit in response to your message:]

Firstly, I wasn’t yelling at you.

Secondly, you didn’t offer me a dish on the house. You simply referred to other dishes on the menu. Stop lying.

Thirdly, don’t tell people to come back for lunch for schnitzel, if you don’t serve it (I travelled over 1h to come to your place).

Fourthly, you’re making a fool of yourself by claiming you focus on locally sourced products with your global beer selection.

Fifthly, you should listen to your loyal customers rather than bashing their feedback, and straight up lying here publicly.

Sixthly, what does Germany have to do with it? Schnitzel isn’t German, and neither am I…please keep your racist/nationalist views...

I was attracted to come to restaurant by Instagram advertisment that today (20.09) the festival is happening. I made reservation. When I arrived to restaurant i had to ask about the event and I was informed that it's not happening today. Chicken for starter was not great, schnitzel, well the cook should go to Germany, Poland or Austria to see how it should be done (tasted like only pepper was used) but the cheesecake was amazing, also great beer and the service was really good. Well I organized all my plans to join the event. Someone should call me to inform so I could reschedule for the event day.

Edit. I was invited my Tatiana. She offered the specials for the event, amazing meatballs and great sausage (same spice used as in schnitzel but in sausage fits perfectly). Great selection of Weiss beer and Octoberfest beers. Again best cheesecake ever and for all Polish people, if you are looking for good pączki this is the place. I hope they will put this to permanent offer so a lot of polish will go there often and get big qty for Tłusty czwartek (fat Thursday). I didn't try the schnitzel again but I was talking with manager about adding more salt and less white pepper so probably will be great. Tatiana and all stuff were great as always. The place to be recommend as I did...

Update: Hi Tatiana, I don’t live in Portugal, but I would like to go back to your restaurant when I visit Lisbon again. However, I am changing my rating as your response indicates you care about your customers. Thank you and have a great day. We had high hopes for this restaurant after stumbling upon it while looking for a lunch spot. The place was busy, and I loved the design. We sat at the bar and waited for a table, and up to that point, the service was great—friendly staff and quick service. Once we were seated at the back patio, though, everything slowed down dramatically. I ordered the cod, and my partner ordered the schnitzel. My food arrived, but I waited for his so we could eat together. Unfortunately, his dish took so long that my food got cold. I ended up finishing my meal, and his still hadn’t arrived. He had to go inside to ask about it, and while they assured him it was coming, there was no acknowledgment or apology for the delay. When his food finally came, it was average at best. I get that they were busy, but this should have been addressed by our waitress without us having to ask multiple times. A simple apology would have made a big difference in the...

Came here on a whim and was instantly charmed by Pils Grill. The atmosphere was cozy and vibrant, with both indoor and outdoor seating options. They even have a lovely garden in the back! We opted to sit inside, and it was the perfect choice for a relaxed yet high-quality dining experience. The service was exceptional. Our server was incredibly kind and attentive, asking thoughtful questions to tailor recommendations for drinks and food we’d love—and she nailed it every time. The food was outstanding. I started with the steak tartare mixed with bone marrow, a unique and absolutely delicious twist I’d never tried before (photo included). For my main, I had a perfectly cooked steak covered in butter—simple, indulgent, and absolutely unforgettable. We also explored their drink menu, experimenting with fruit beers. They struck the perfect balance—sweet but not overly so, just what we were craving. I even took home a bottle of their cherry beer to enjoy later! The ambiance strikes the perfect balance: casual and laid-back, but the food quality is on par with a fine dining restaurant. Truly a gem. Can’t wait to come back!

We ordered three starters: prawn croquettes, grilled cheese with honey, and bread with butter. The croquettes were one of my favorites. For the main, we shared the smoked half chicken with meat glaze and added fries with miso sauce. The fries were excellent. Crispy outside, soft inside, and perfectly salted. The chicken was flavorful but came in two halves, and the table was way too small. There was no room for the bones, sides, or even to eat comfortably. The plates were also too small. It felt like they made everything tight to fit more people, but that made the whole experience less comfortable. For drinks, we had the passion fruit cider and the basil lemonade. I didn’t enjoy either. The cider had an odd taste and I couldn’t finish it. The lemonade was weak and didn’t taste like basil at all. We also ordered a cheesecake with an espresso for dessert. The cheesecake was very good and ended the meal on a high note. Overall the food was great, especially the fries, croquettes, and dessert. But the space and drinks made the experience feel off balance. I would go back for the food, but not if it’s crowded.
