Looking for new places to eat ramen in Lisbon we found out about this restaurant and went along with it, considering good rating and reviews.
However, it was quite disappointing experience. We ordered sesame balls with a bean paste and gyoza. Sesame balls arrived really hot, like cooking hot temperature, tasted interesting, but I would not try it again. For mains we had Chicken Ramen and Tofu Ramen, that turned out to be a big mistake. Both dishes were unseasoned, lacked taste, salt and didn’t have anything reminding traditional ramen broth. It was surprising that place specializing on ramen had such a low quality broth. The broth tasted more like a water than anything else.
Fried tofu was served aside from ramen and did not have any taste or seasoning. It was just plain tofu. I wonder if vegetarian option exists just for formal reasons, otherwise I can not justify the lack of the taste.
Additionally we got a pot of tea and the traditional soda drink with dried plums. Tea was good, soda drink turned out to be both sweet and salty, tasted intense.
My overall impression of the place was disappointing, the only thing that made it a little better is the small gift that restaurant provides for the customers as you pay your bill.
Service was good, staff is very polite, speaks English.

Read moreWe had dinner at this restaurant and completely fell in love with the tasteful rammen! Rammen is one of my favourite dishes, and I have tried many rammen places all over Europe, and I can assure that this was the best 👌🏼 I have ever tried around here! Super recommend it! The sweet waitress from Nepal was also very nice to us. We had the chance to try a new dish they were creating for the menu, and again, fantastic flavour and textures! The homemade noodles was also a plus: very tasty and soft texture. I hope more and more people come to try out this place, and I will be definitely coming back! We also tried the Korean rice wine and the salty/sweet soda (with Haumei plums, if I'm not wrong)...super good! Overall, 10 out of 10 in every aspects: food, service, kindness...
Read moreI grew up in Japan and am used to Japanese style ramen. So far, I haven’t found a ramen restaurant of that kind in Lisbon. I was curious to try this restaurant because of the name, Yuki, a familiar Japanese name. The restaurant is clean inside and the staff are very friendly. I had Pork ramen. The home made noodle tends to be thick. The flavor, which is more like south East Asian, was fine. What made me puzzled was some of the ingredients. I don’t know why they pan-fried chashu slices, and put shredded carrots. It was missing succulent chashu. Instead of shredded carrots, traditional ingredients such as bean sprouts or bamboo shoots would make the ramen more enjoyable...
