The food was excellent! The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and went well above and beyond to take care of us and ensure that our toddler was well looked after! We had a great experience here, and definately will be back. Food was delicious ! And our waitress was friendly , but she was slow and didn't come to see if we needed any drinks or anything until we asked. We had the wild potatoes ( which is just French fries with aoli on it) , the octopus and some crispy chicken. Everything was tastey ! With a good location, a couple of steps from the water, with beautiful views. Prices are good enough. The food got double: the octopus was fantastic, but the ordered steak was tragically rubbery. Service is also good.

Wouldn’t come here again even if I was paid for. Worst experience ever in Açores. You would expect a least minimal service and quality of food, specially in a touristic place. The service was terrible (taking ages, easily 20 minutes to bring just some starters), and even worse, the quality of the food is terrible. We ordered a fish soup, which came either NO fish because they forgot, and when they brought it, it was full of fish bones, and barely any fish whatsoever. We also ordered sardines, where we asked for certain sides on the plates, but the plates came almost all with the wrong sides or wrong cooking level (asked for a raw tuna steak, came completely cooked)

There were a lot of people outside so we decided to go and eat there. Honestly I wish I had checked the reviews first! Our food came in wrong more than once (as in, the dish was simply not what we ordered) and some elements were of questionable quality. For instance, we ordered a seafood paella but the mussels weren't good. Some of the shells were broken. I ordered a bacalhau with garlic and olive oil, but the oil didn't have any taste and I am not even sure it was olive oil to begin with. The meal sizes aren't that great compared to other restaurants in São Miguel. The drinks were affordable and the staff tried their best, but that's about it unfortunately
