I could not recommend this place more!

I've known Bira dos Namorados since the original restaurant in the city of Braga, where I was for the last time in 2015. Today I was very happy to find that they recently opened a restaurant in Porto as well and that everything was even better than I remembered. It's delicious burgers and steak sandwiches (pregos in Portuguese) with typical delicious combinations of Portuguese ingredients. We went as a couple plus my mother in law and payed a total of about 30 eur (3 burgers + drinks + 1 dessert). Everything is very fresh and carefully made. We can't understand the good ratings - but maybe we were just unlucky?

The service was unmotivated and did not make us feel welcome. With the vegetarian burger we didn't get the right bun, which was announced after ordering (which can happen, that's okay) Our burgers were not outstanding in taste But worst of all, the fries were cold and tasted like old cardboard. We stopped by this restaurant on our way back to the hotel for a quick bite before catching our flight. It was early, so the place was quiet, but the fun décor gave it a lively feel.

We ordered a mix of dishes—salmon avocado tacos, steak burger with fries, sushi rice and salmon burrito. Everything was tasty, and overall pretty good value for money.
