BARBECUE FUSION — Restaurant in Doha

At first we were skeptical about the food on the counter but when my husband saw the pata tim (which is actually a “beef” pata) we were drawn to eat there and try it. The taste of the pata tim is superb, as if you’re eating a “pork” pata tim. 😊 The way it was cooked is impressive and the meat is tender. And I tried the grilled “chicken butt” ☺️ (puwet ng manok 😜), it was tasty and the way it was marinated is good. The orange chicken is quite a little so-so (you can taste the orange(y) flavor but the chicken meat is somehow not tender. ✌🏼And for the dessert, we tried the puto bumbong, how I miss the puto bumbong during Christmas season in the Phils. It may not be the best puto bumbong in town (for those who have different taste buds) but for me it was flavorful 👌🏽 😋 and reminds me of the Christmas holiday feels in eating such delicacy. And the complimentary “gulaman drink” (gelatin drink) is so refreshing. Just the right amount of sweetness. I just walked into this place for the very first time, service is so homely. I asked for assistance on what I would like to eat. They suggested the chicken sizzling accompanied with beef soup and tarot vegetable cooked in coconut milk. I also tried the cheese ube cake, it is sooo fluffy and soft, a must try. I really pleased with the food, and will definitely come again. Review update I came here yet again, and was definitely not disappointed 2nd time around. Customer service was excellent, 'cos they make you feel at home. They suggested I try this time around the bicol express a Chicken base in coconut milk, Mongo a lentil dish with some bitter gourd and chicken BBQ.

The food tasted authentic and delicious. This is not my first visit to Barbeque Fusion.

The selection range is simple and the ordering process does not take much time.

The staff is very friendly and genuine. I saw how some customers gave them a hard time but they handled the customers very well.

However, I would like the communication to be sharp but then again it's not a big turn off.

As a recommendation I would say to look into the menu and the potential to increase the variety because your current selection limits your customers to Asians and that's also Malaysians...
