We just checked in yesterday and so far so great! The check in process was very smooth, they had a lovely area with Gahwa arabia, Turkish Baqlawa, dates, prunes and various nuts. The lady at checkin was lovely and was very helpful with getting us a connected room, and explaining the timings for everything. The ladies that work downstairs like Aya were super lovely with the kids, and were even giving them out some W hotel cookie sticks, which the kids loved, for the adults they gave us healthy juice shots as well. The room itself was cute, and the bathroom was spacious, only thing I would fault was the lack of the pressure spray in the bathroom, instead they had a Bidet, which is strange for a Muslim country to see in a hotel. The baby crib was good, beds were very comfortable and they give comfy slippers and bath robes. There was a lack of tooth brushes and other amenities but if you call them they would bring what you needed. The breakfast was amazing, they had everything you needed, we had from the buffet things like sausages, fruit, nuts, cheeses, smoothies, fresh juice, variety of healthy juice shots, hash browns and more. We tried their a la carte breakfast menu as well, we had the pancakes which were good, omelette was good, and the french toast which had a bit too much cream for my liking. We are staying 2 more nights so will try the other stuff soon! The pool area is really nice, but keep in mind if you aren’t with kids, it’s filled with them! They had floaters for the kids to use, areas for tanning, a few outside games for the kids, they give us bags with ice and water, and even gave us complimentary iced grapes. The two men that work there are lovely and are always smiling. The gym is huge and has lots of machines for use, it’s also 24/7 which is a plus. With so many kids around, I would suggest an area with a kids club. Location is central to everything, and I’d highly suggest people to thing about booking here

From the moment you step into W Doha, you’re immersed in a world where bold design meets warm hospitality. This hotel is a true gem in the heart of West Bay, offering a vibrant atmosphere, world-class service, and exceptional attention to detail. The suites (stayed in a Wow suite) are impeccably designed—modern, spacious, and stylish, with plush bedding, high-tech amenities, and beautiful views of the Doha skyline or Gulf. Every detail, from the mood lighting, Bose surround system, to the Nespresso machine, adds a touch of comfort and luxury. The hotel’s WET Pool and FIT Gym provide the perfect balance of relaxation and wellness, while the AWAY Spa offers indulgent treatments that leave you feeling completely refreshed. The vibe throughout the hotel is upbeat yet refined, making it perfect for both business travelers and vacationers. What truly sets W Doha apart is its staff. From check-in to check-out, everyone goes above and beyond to ensure a seamless, enjoyable stay. It’s this personalized service that makes every visit feel special. Whether you’re in Doha for business, leisure, or a little bit of both, W Doha is a top-tier choice that delivers on all.

There are some good people at this hotel, but unfortunately they are outnumbered by the sub par ones. Not 5 stars. I have been a guest at this hotel for over 30 nights. Although the rooms are not the newest rooms in the city, they are old actually without even smart TV's, the restaurants & service are what swayed me to stay here. I was greeted by Tarek & Sameer who are professional and all around kind, good people. However, they are overshadowed by the less than great ones. Everything was fine during my stay until recently. I eat at all the outlets. I have a regular table I eat at for breakfast and dinner. Every morning I sit at the same table. And order the same thing. There are no surprises. I also have signed my meals to my room since the beginning without any issues. Thursday night, I confirmed my dinner reservation at La Spiga myself as no one called or texted, I showed up on time only to wait over 40 minutes for my table, which was reserved 7 days prior. Not only that, I was overcharged on my bill initially. After signing, I went upstairs to my room. At approx 11:15pm I was called from the restaurant stating that someone from the front desk told them that I couldn't charge my meal, which was less than $40, and they asked if they could come upstairs to collect. I was in my pajamas. I'm a long time guest, over a month at this hotel. And over 1100 nights with Bonvoy and titanium status. I have no room balance, in fact, I have over $1,500 credit on my room as I prepaid for 2 weeks in advance and settled my prior bill less than 72 hours to this dinner. Yesterday when I went down to breakfast at the Market, the hostess Caitlan, who is an absolute pill to deal with, had given my table away. I sit at this table every single day at the same time, 10:35am. And I eat the same omelet everyday. She's done this at least 5 times most likely to wield her power as a hostess. LOL. It's not the table, it's the principle when a regular guest requests a table politely repeatedly and it gets given away repeatedly that makes an establishment not worth the trouble to eat at again. There literally is no preferential treatment even for loyal guests of the brand. Even for such a small request. My breakfast is included in my rate. I didn't eat it the last 2 days, nor will I be in the future due to these 2 incidents. Also, there is a stalker in the hotel which I've informed security about. I am uncomfortable using the gym for fear of being alone with him. There is no common sense from people who are running the front desk, with the exception of Khaldoun, everyone else is incompetent. The rooms are old. And now that the service in both restaurants is going downhill. I see no value paying to stay here. Just not worth the trouble. I will be...

Title: Extremely Disappointing and Disrespectful Experience I am writing to express my utmost disappointment and frustration regarding the terrible service I experienced at your restaurant during a Ramadan iftar event organized by a pharmaceutical company. From the moment I arrived, the lack of professionalism, respect, and basic customer care was shocking.

Initially, the pharmaceutical company’s representative communicated with your staff and confirmed that there was an official email for the reservation. However, after 20 minutes of being taken inside, an employee informed me that there was confusion among the staff—they mistakenly thought the reservation was for suhoor (pre-dawn meal) rather than iftar (evening meal). While mistakes can happen (we are all human), the way this situation was handled was absolutely terrible.

Upon arrival, I was left standing without any assistance or guidance. Despite attempting to address the issue politely with the staff, I was met with indifference. One employee simply said, "Oh, sorry," and took me outside the restaurant, leaving me there unattended. No one bothered to check on me or apologize for the inconvenience. After waiting for 20 minutes, I was brought back inside, only to be told that the issue was still unresolved and taken outside again.

Even when my colleagues arrived, there was no one to assist us or address the situation. By the time Maghrib prayer was called, we still had no table or resolution. I had to approach the staff multiple times to express my frustration and request to speak with the manager. After 30 minutes of waiting and no solution, I was exhausted and upset by the complete lack of respect and care shown to us.

Finally, after insisting, we were given a table, but by then, it was already 10 minutes past Maghrib, and I was unable to enjoy my iftar due to the stress and exhaustion caused by this ordeal.

This experience was utterly unacceptable. The lack of organization, professionalism, and basic courtesy from your staff is inexcusable. I expected better treatment, especially during the holy month of Ramadan. While a simple apology was eventually offered, it meant nothing after the immense inconvenience and distress caused by your staff’s poor handling of the situation.

I strongly advise people not to visit this restaurant. If any problem arises, this place is completely incapable of resolving it, and customer satisfaction is clearly their lowest priority.

I will not be returning to your restaurant and will strongly advise others to think twice...

We recently came back from a 4 night stay at the W Doha (room 920 - 26th-30th May) and I must say that the whole experience was excellent!||We were a family of 3 and the hotel staff really went out of their way to accommodate us during our stay. I last stayed at the hotel back in 2022 for the World Cup and made a welcomed return.||A big shout to the security and concierge team who were so friendly and were always so welcoming. This can be so rare these days but it really made us feel welcome everytime we went out and returned each day!!|Our room was spacious and well laid out with the seperate bath and shower unit and 2 large double beds. The room was well maintained each day and housekeeping did an amazing job!||We were half board, which is not something we often go for but I must say the quality of the food and the service in the restaurants was exceptional!||The breakfast at the Market restaurant was extensive with Asian, European and American food options. In addition there was an a la carte menu for eggs and other dishes. Freshly made juices and hot beverages also.||We had the choice of either lunch or dinner for our half board. On our first night we dined in the spice Market which was modern Asian cuisine. There was a set menu which had some good options and was well presented. We tried some of the a la carte options also.||On the other days we opted for the lunch offering in the Market restaurant. There was a 3-course set menu which we felt was excellent value and the portions were very generous! We we certainly not short changed and the 'cookies to go' we our go to for dessert which we're sooooo good and huge ;). They even did a goodbye platter on our last day which was such a nice touch ||The service was very friendly and personal and the staff went out of their way to greet us personally and acknowledged our stay. It was really nice to see a diverse team!||The hotel has managed to maintain the high standards they had from the World Cup and the food was top notch!! Be warned, the market restaurant is very popular with locals and tourists alike and so we were fortunate to get a table staying at the hotel so ensure you book or arrive early!!||I am glad we made the decision to return to the W Doha given there are do many top hotels to choose from but I HIGHLY recommend this hotel and I think it presents amazing value and top notch service!!||If you are looking for a good place to.stay in Doha, look no further...
