Element City Center Doha — Hotel in Doha

This review has been written with the utmost honesty.

Location is perfect! In addition to being located in the city centre, the hotel is close to shops and restaurants. There is a DECC metro station and a bus stop nearby. Furthermore, the airport is easily accessible. The facilities are clean and modern. In addition to being within walking distance of the metro station, the location also offers convenient access to various modes of transportation. There are several bus stops nearby, and taxi services are readily available. Furthermore, for those who prefer to drive, there is ample parking space in the vicinity. 10/10

We received a warm welcome from the moment we walked in until the moment we departed. Siwar, Yosra, you were awesome! My issues were resolved in the blink of an eye! Thank you very much. . There is no doubt that you are an asset to Elements. Keep up the good work. Our family and friends will also be returning to Elements this year. Definitely a 10.

Internet: I had problems connecting to the internet; Siwar contacted the IT specialist immediately. Joseph performed a great job and patiently guided me through the entire process if I had any issues.

IT personnel's knowledge and expertise: 10/10

Connectivity: 8/10

TV- Not much variety of programmes to watch. 5/10

Housekeeping: A very energetic team. Respectful and professional. The rooms, especially the bathroom, are very clean. On the flip side, we had to ask for toilet paper a couple of times. Bed linens, particularly the underlay, should be scrutinised more thoroughly before use (I would be happy to elaborate on this). It would be beneficial to monitor the guest toilet downstairs more closely, especially the floor. A good scrub is needed. 6.5/10.

Maintenance Team (Electrical): Always on hand! Thanks. 10/10

Wise Bar: I went to the Wise Bar at the wrong time. On my next visit, I'll check it out.

Swimming Pool: The pool is indoors and has an attractive ambience. Even though I can't swim, I took a look around.8/10

Spa: Did not visit but I'll be back later this year.

Motions Gym: Despite space constraints, the gym is well equipped. 9/10

Restaurant: The food was delicious. Wide choice. The synergy between the restaurant manager, Mr. Zaka, and the team is exceptional. The staff are very knowledgeable, except for an incident where I requested an omelette for two, and I specifically said one without sausage. The team member (name withheld as this review is not to victimise but for improvement; I can be contacted on this) came with 3 plates and could not tell which one was without sausage and walked off. In contrast, the next time I requested an omelette, Sureka had a sheet with various fillings listed. As I said what I wanted, she checked each box, and delivery was smooth.

Despite experiencing long queues a few times, I must commend Mr. Zaka and his team for reducing queues and wait times quickly.

The restaurant provided an excellent dining experience. Thank you, Sureka, Wael, Aziz (hope I spelled that right), Black Lady in Doha Baking Company, and the "behind the scenes" team, i.e., Core Kitchen Staff. We may not see you, but we appreciate your dedication and hard work. Thank you for your invaluable contribution to the restaurant, and we appreciate all your efforts.

Mr Zaka: Very professional, versatile, flexible, unassuming, and kind-natured. We had a wonderful dining experience. Shukran! What a beautiful soul you are! 10/10

I am excitedly booked a three bedroom on high floor at Element City Center Doha for November 1 to 2 stay. I made a booking for women's ministry planning / meeting. I booked it on October 30 through Marriot Bonvoy. I got my confirmation number 70761352 and guaranteed my payment by inputting my debit card on their site. I received an email confirmation on my booking. Before the booked date, I called the Marriot reservation number. I talked to a lady Elisha or Elizabeth, she confirmed to me that i am gonna stay in 36th floor but the room number will be upon checkin. I requested her if i can checkin at 1pm and she told me that she will put note on the system but that is no assurance that i can checkin at 1pm so the usual is 3pm. November 1, I went there to checkin at around 2:30pm. The tall guy (seems like SriLankan or Indian, no name plate wearing stripes coat which is different from all the staffs there) told me that he will check my booking, I gave him my confirmation number. He asked me for awhile as he needs to check the room. I just keep on standing at the reception while he is checking on the the computer. Then he told me that there is no high floor room. I insisted him that i have a confirmed & guaranteed booking on the high floor. He start telling me that the my booking has no assurance even I have a confirmation number. That is not a first time I stayed at Element, I think this would be my 6th and to this is the first time to a terrible experience in checking in. After few minutes of keep on telling me that i booked a high floor, he is telling me that he cannot give me a 3 bedroom apartment only two. Again I insist him that i have a confirmed & guaranteed booking for 3 rooms. I asked him what is the problem. He told me that there was a problem to the system and that is not the first time to happen and other clients are sometimes experiencing like what i did experience. He insisted me that he can only offer 8th floor. H even told me that low and high floor has same price. I told him that its not my first time to booked a hotel and i even asked him to check the price of low and high floor to know the differences. He even told me that he is working from the industry for so long and he sure that low and high floor has same price. Well, Element please brief your staff the difference! And here came another staff named Bryan, who even pacifying and admit of the over booking. I questioned him about the booking system they have and he told me the same that its their system. Blaming the system and let us the client to suffer wasting our time . He offer a two bedroom and a meeting room and I declined. I booked 3 bedroom so we can enjoy being together but because of what they say its systems fault they ruined the simple joy and excitement we have that time. We talked for an almost hour and for checking the booking. And to the end since they just transfer us to other hotel. When we reached that hotel we showed him the confirmed & guaranteed booking we have and he asked us then why they transfer you here. Element, I am really upset to your service this time. I am recommending you to my friends and colleagues every time they are asking for a hotel. but after what happened rcently, I am afraid to book on you again cos maybe on the last minute like what we have experienced we will be transferred to other...
