Sara Sarroglia Restaurant — Restaurant in Bucharest

It was our first time in Sara Sarroglia Restaurant and it was amazing. The atmosphere was incredible and the food was delicious especially pizza "Frutti Di Mare". Also we were served bruschetta as a compliment from the restaurant. We sat on a cozy summer terrace but inside it was also very stylish and beautiful. The restaurant was really busy the place was packed but we still got our food so quickly. The Ukrainian waiter and waitresses (unfortunately I don't remember their names but the girl has a lot of tattoos) gave us brilliant service. They were really friendly, approachable and helpful. The girl took a lovely group photo for us. My friends and We will definitely visit the restaurant again when in Bucharest as the service here is outstanding. I will be recommending this restaurant...

We had high hopes for this place considering the high rating but we were disappointed to say the least. The place itself looked very elegant so we expected the service to be on par with that but unfortunately we found it lacking. Our waiter wasn’t writing down our order and for a table of 6 with main courses, appetizers and various drinks I would think that is necessary. As expected we didn’t receive everything we ordered at once because he forgot. The wine was decent but nothing extraordinary and the food was probably the biggest disappointment. Pizza was good but the tartar and pasta weren’t even average, they were lacking taste and the chunks of meat in the pasta were way too big and fatty. The restaurant was empty except us and one more table but we still had to wait a lot...

I booked a table for lunch time and when I arrived one girl asked me to wait downstairs with family and baby stroller. Then another family arrived and she welcomed them. I asked again from where to go up and she said thorough the stairs. Please take note that there is an elevator and nobody invited me to use it with a baby of 4 months. Once we climbed up transporting the stroller, she asked again to wait in front of the bar, I don’t know why and then I decided to enter and again I asked her where to sit. She said in a bad way…wherever you want. What means this? That despite the nice restaurant and environment, despite the good food, only one person was able to destroy our experience in this restaurant. That’s why I don’t need to comeback again and I don’t need to advice....
