La Salumeria Cucina — Restaurant in Bucharest

TRUE ITALIAN EXPERIENCE! I'm going to begin with the pros: the pasta AMAZING! Very delicious but most importantly : GENUINE ITALIAN taste and texture! Congratulations, i felt like i was in Italy! The staff was very attentive, nice and friendly, the cofee very good and flavoured, we also had a red wine by the glass and it was great. The pasta we had was carbonara and truffle, and also tried the tomato bruschetta. The inside of the restaurant is very beautiful, clean and elegant. The cons: they don't have everything in the menu, which is disappointing because many dishes seemed very good and we would have liked to try them. The terrace needs a bit more attention and investment into details.The wine glasses were not very well washed, and i think they might have belonged to the old restaurant cause it said "Sara" on them and they looked very used and scratched. Last but not least, from all the listings in the menu, they only had a few pre-made cakes for desserts, genuine italian indeed but ordered, not "home made" (by the restaurant itself). They were extremely sweet, not to our taste. But i do recommend this restaurant because the selection and the taste of pasta is absolutely great and for that only, it's worth it! If you choose to sit outside, please mind that it's near the street and it's alot of noise. The restaurant is inside of a hotel, i don't know if they have private parking, but we parked right across the street where we easily found a spot. We did not book a table ahead and we went for lunch, so there were enough spare tables, but i don't know how it...

Stale bread…that’s what we got?!

Food is ok..mediocre..this place has fine dining aspirations, however when you serve your customer stale bread and 4 ravioli with the dough so thick you cannot taste anything else it all falls flat. Food is not bad, however I cannot rate it higher than a solid ok..it is not worth the money and I cannot forgive the fact that they serve old bread..this is absolutely unacceptable! Will not return! And cannot in good faith recommend it for the quality of food as there are better places in Bucharest. GASTRONOMIC WELLBEING. This place has two souls. You can buy your favorite Italian delicatessen products of the best quality and you can also have a quick lunch with a salad during your work break or an elegant dinner. Typical Italian recipes prepared with the utmost care and excellent raw materials. The Italian wine list is well-stocked and for every desire. Attentive but informal service. Elegant but familiar atmosphere. The goal of this place is well-being that is easily achieved. All at an excellent...
