Small cafe/bistro not too far from the main railway station, Bratislava Hlavna. The place isn't very big and it's quite snug. They had plenty of freshly bakes goods displayed at the front counter. Staff spoke very good English and we're very welcoming to their establishment. I was given a menu to look at, and was asked to take a seat. I read on the menu that there is no table service. It's there in big, but I imagine some might still miss it. Might be worth to mention to people coming in. The prices are reasonable for the quality of food that came. Can't go too wrong with scrambled egg, however the latte was very very tasty! Great place to eat with great service. Just disliked how cramped it felt there.

Probably the best eggs benedict in Bratislava. They have a great breakfast menu, the food was really delicious. The brunch combos were quite confusing, we weren’t sure if they were meant for 1 or more people (turns out they are meant for one). It comes on a huge board which is impressive and looks great but not very practical. Stylish interior with retro slovak decor. The menu is also a modern take on slovak classics. The service was so so, there was only one waitress for the full restaurant and she was completely stressed out. Overall a very good experience, would definitely come back. Too bad they are open for breakfast and lunch only.

The place is uniquely designed and carries the theme of Slovak socialist-era design from several decades ago. It’s a small establishment often very crowded and busy. The menu offers classic Slovak specialties beloved during socialism era, such as “Parisian salad” and layered cabbage casserole (koložvárska kapusta) etc, as well as modern dishes like eggs Benedict. Prices are in my opinion high for the portions that are small – it’s more tourists spot, as its also very close to the main train station. However, it has a special charm, and I would recommend trying it at least once.
