Grajska plaža Restaurant — Restaurant in Bled

Second time in my life I got that kind of bad experience and treatment in the place, where i leave my money... We stopped during our walk to drink something (around 7pm). We were thinking also about eat smth but we were not sure yet. It was full, so we took last table. Order a beer first, because we even didn't get a meal menu, but ok. After some guests finished, we wanted to change place and sit closer to view, to the lake. But waitress refused to us. But after 5 minutes she agreed for the other guests, to change their places for better one... 🤷‍♀️ it is nice to know, that you are guest of worst category somehow. It is the most rude practice ever - if you ordered just a drink, sit in the worst place, you are worthless customer for us. If it was just about food - I would order that damn food, you should just give me a menu! But I clearly noticed some other people just with drinks, sitting close to the view...

We appreciated the fact that the waiter was super nice. Even though it's not the season yet, the restaurant was busy and the waiting time was quite long. We finally got risotto with wine, bacon and olives; pasta with chicken and local cheese and pasta with truffles and beef. Risotto taking the first place for sure. The restaurant offers a great view of the lake. All would be great if it hadn't been for toilet "experience". It ate a bigger portion of time we spent there (and since I mentioned already that we waited a bit for food, it tells you something). Restaurant doesn't seem to have its own lavatories and gives access cards to the public toilet. They are tiny (baiscally one place for women), so the queue of restaurant guests and regular tourists was long. Have no idea what it looks like in high season. Given prices of the food the restaurant charges and the amount of guests it should be doable to invest in this kind...

We visited the Bled area with friends and stumbled upon Grajska plaža during our walk around the lake. The location offers great views, but I want to say a couple of words about the food.

We were served by a waiter who recommended his favorite dishes: salmon and beef tartar, both of which turned out to be really delicious. We travel a lot and love to eat out, so we have a good comparison, and at Grajska plaža, every single dish we ordered from the menu met our expectations. Not only in terms of taste, but the presentation and combination of flavors in each dish provided a delightful experience.

Apart from the beef tartar and salmon, I can personally recommend the local cheese dumplings in mushroom sauce and the pork belly, which was truly divine. We don’t know the name of the waiter, but he was super friendly and offered us great advice while we struggled with our choices. Overall, the experience was...
