I had the pleasure of dining at a charming restaurant in Lake Bled on the last night of my wonderful trip, and what a delightful experience it was! I opted for the delicious salmon, perfectly paired with potatoes that whisked me back to UK fish shop chips. The salmon was cooked to perfection, flaky and full of flavor, while the vegetables on the side were an absolute delight. To complement my meal, I enjoyed a small 200ml local lager that was refreshing and a great match for the dish. The ambience and the friendly staff made it a memorable dining experience, the perfect ending to my solo adventure in Lake Bled. I can't recommend this place enough for a taste of delightful cuisine and through the open windows, a stunning view of Bled Castle at night ❤️. Queue was out the door when I arrived but soon went down.

Im a bit skeptical of this place… they had two issues that cost them 2 stars. The negative things: The prices are a bit to high for the quality. The food is tasty but i think things are priced 10-20% higher than they should. - 1 star. They brought us some stale bread and a dip (which we did not asked for). They proceeded to charge 2,5 per Person for this. The problem here is firstly that we did not order it, secondly they didn’t communicated that its charged (they gave it to use like it was on the house) and third its was simply not good. So if you give something to someone that is not good, they didn’t ask for and you don’t say it’s charged, the feeling is not positive -1 star. Everything else was good. The positive things: The waiters were very polite and friendly. They gave us free tap water without us having to ask them. This was very nice of them. The food was tasty and the portions are relatively big.

In my opinion quite average or below average sea food and cousine. I was excited because of the reviews, but in the end it was disappointing experience. The trout was oily with oily grilled vegetable and with oily chips (for the first time I was served grilled fish with chips), blitva was below the average. All the dishes (octopus salad, the trout, pasta with shrimps and chocolate mousse) had bland taste and the pasta tasted like something I would prepare as a student at home. Moreover the service was bit strangely organized, they behaved nice, but they made us wait over five minutes before we were seated (even with a booked table) and in the end I had to go to pay my bill to cashier, otherwise we would be there still till now probably. From my point of view it wasn't worthy the money I paid, I could find much more better places in Bled at the same price level.

Large portions, a varied menu, friendly staff and efficient service let down by mediocre food. We ordered the cuttlefish risotto, prawns in a creamy spaghetti sauce, fried squid and the tagliatelle with Pesto. The risotto was fine but lacked depth of flavour and was on the oily/buttery side. The creamy sauce in the prawn dish tasted of cream and not much else. It just didn't taste like a complete sauce. The pesto had far too much mint and both pasta dishes suffered from overcooked pasta that lacked bite and texture. The fried squid was the only dish that met out expectations and I would order again although even this was over seasoned. It wasn't bad food but not memorable food either. The portions were decent but I've had better food in much cheaper restaurants.

The best place to eat in Bled, other places are just scandalous. We ate there two days in row, and if we stayed more I’d definitely not mind to eat there every day. The decor of whole place reminds of a cute Slovenian granny house, very adorable, you can be exploring details for long. The stuff were very friendly and caring, finally not young careless students. I’d recommend the fish soup that’s cooked from fish called “morsky list” what means sea leaf and the seafood risotto. You can also get the linguine with same seafood saucing. Regarding the seafood plate for 2persons that’s the only thing they can improve, I’d definitely add more shrimps instead of the enormous amount of salty fried calamari.

Went here for dinner and to escape the rain. We were served by a lovely lady who was very accommodating with our 2 year old son. Her attitude was very welcoming! The food was excellent. The portion sizes were quite large by our expectation, I ordered squid and my wife had some as I couldn’t finish it all! They cooked a children’s portion of sea bass for my son, it was excellent however a very large portion for such a young child. The food worked out to be about €36 per adult for 2 courses. The soup of the day was excellent! So much so that my son now likes broccoli! We’re disappointed we only discovered this restaurant on our last day as we would have visited a second time if we had time.
