Ramen by Maru — Restaurant in Upravna Enota Ljubljana

Incredibly good! A very straight-forward ramen place with a cute and charming interior. The ramen was wonderful, filling and a perfect choice for lunch on a cold day. We don't know enough about the dish to rate authenticity, but we really didn't need to - we were too busy admiring the great taste. The selection of ramen is limited, but very carefully chosen to fit different tastes. The homemade ice tea was wonderful, sweet, but gentle and refreshing, I wish I could bring some home. I'm glad they also serve Japanese (style?) beer. The service was very kind, helpful and fast. Next time, we'll try the matcha...

For some reason Google maps shows the pin at a wrong place. It's actually in the city center of Ljubljana. Just stick to the address, not the pin.

I"ve always been a fan of the original Maru restraurant (located in Šiška district of Ljubljana, best Japanese food and the nicest staff) and was more than excited to hear that they are opening a ramen place. I love ramen and until now, you couldn't really grab a quick ramen anywhere (except in fancier restaurants as a part of your multi-course meal).
