Please don’t go to this place. They have false advertising and it’s set up to squeeze as much money as possible from you. I came to the restaurant with my father and older sister because we heard many good things about this place online. The menu is very expensive to begin with, but we were willing to pay for it. One plate of standard raw meat was 36,000 won, with the picture showing two high quality slabs of raw meat. We wanted to order this and another dish, but the waitress said we had to order two plates of one dish. This was already a red flag, but we continued and ordered two plates of one dish. I truly believe they had that rule set for people to spend more if they wanted a variety of meats. Anyway, the food was quick to come and was your standard flavor of meat, which disappointed me because it was so expensive. The REAL problem however, comes after. That second plate of meat we were required to order never came. We were very confused and asked the workers, but they insisted that the two slabs of meat were the two plates/servings we ordered. Keep in mind that the image on the menu showed two slabs of meat for 36,000. We thought that maybe there was miscommunication when ordering so we just paid and checked our receipt. They charged us 73,000 won. That means that one slab of standard meat was 36,000 won. There were so many problems with that because it was overpriced AND falsely advertised, but they still forced us to pay it all. The receipt also did not have the details of what we ordered and just had an inputted cost of 73,000? Not to mention the waitresses were rude. One was young and looked like she hated her job. The other was older and spoke condescendingly to us about how this restaurant was “not like other Korean barbecue restaurants”. I don’t ever write reviews, but I felt like I really had to for this terrible experience. We paid 73,000 for two slabs of meat, 3 bites for each of us, and the meat was just basic meat. They need to fix the menu and not put two slabs of meat for 36,000 but actually charge for 36,000 for one slab of meat. I was really disappointed as it was my first Korean barbecue and on the New Years. Don’t come here it is overpriced for standard quality food and...
Read more✔️ This is honestly the most foreigner friendly BBQ I’ve been to in Korea. Not only do they have full English menus, they also have a diagram of the table setting and label each of the side dishes and meat sauces. They even show you different ways to eat meat at BBQ (diff sauces, side dishes and with other meals)
✔️ The staff were also so nice and helpful!
We tried: 💛 수원왕갈비 (Suwon King Ribs) (27,000) 💛 빗실로스 (27,000) 💛 냉면 (cold noodles) (6,000)
✔️We ordered the signature menu ribs, which you grill by yourself. This was genuinely one of the nicest BBQ’s I’ve been too. It was also my first time trying seasame leaf pesto, and eating BBQ with naengmyeon, both of which were AMAZING and I hiiiiiiighly recommend trying together! I already want to go back and eat it again 🙈🙈
✔️The interior was also quite special, much nicer than your standard KBBQ restaurant, as it has a retro style with an LA Koreatown vibe ✔️ Free Service of Wine Corkage ✔️ Wide range of wine to...
Read moreThe staff doesn’t really speak English, so it was difficult understanding what they were saying we were able to order. We ordered one serving of galbi (36,000W), kimchi fried rice (12,000W), and two bowls of white rice, but somehow it added up to 73,000W?? What I’m confused about is that the staff told us we had to get “two servings” of one dish (the galbi), but we only got two strips of meat like the picture. We also weren’t charged twice as much because 36000W x 2 is already 72000W, and we had the fried rice so that couldn’t be it. Where exactly did the extra...
