Where to start and where to finish.
One word..... WOW.
This reminded me of back home in Italy. From the decor, to the quaint layout, to the Chef, to the wine and the amazing flavors and I can go on and on and on.
My first time here and I was skeptical because it was out of the way. I will tell you I'm glad I decided to go because to skip this place would have been a huge mistake.
I managed to find their Facebook page and sent a message to make a reservation, they were extremely responsive and helpful. I arrived with a friend and we enjoyed an amazing dinner by the window.
The FOOD, OMG the food, WOW WOW WOW. We tried many dishes and lastly we tried the homemade sausage, don't skip the sausage. It was amazing. The sauces, the pasta perfectly Al Dente, the flavors took me back to my Nana's home.
Restaurants like this one, should be a national treasure. I don't care where you are from, you have to go and try this place, zero disappointment and you'll leave with a huge smile on your face.
I regret only one thing, I didn't take pictures of this beautiful Restaurant. Next time for sure.

I was asked to leave while I was still enjoying my dessert because the 8:00 PM reservation guests arrived 30 minutes early.
I understood that the seating time was limited to around an hour and that the restaurant was busy. It also took about 20 minutes for a single plate of pasta to be served, which was understandable under the circumstances. However, I found it quite upsetting that a staff member came to my table during dessert and said, “We need the table now,” asking me to leave.
If the time constraints were so strict, I feel they should not have encouraged me to order dessert. Had I known I’d be asked to leave less than five minutes after the dessert was served, I wouldn’t have ordered it in the first place.
The staff’s service felt unprofessional, and their attitude when I raised this issue at checkout was equally disappointing. When I shared my concern, the staff simply said, “I can’t do anything about it,” showing no willingness to address the situation .

Read moreI was eager to dine in at Curi Curi ever since I watched the owner chefs appeared on many YouTube contents and korean TV programs. I visited Curi Curi with my cousin who has been to Sicilia multiple times and we ordered the famous arancines, lobster filled ravioli, bottarga spaghetti, as a main baccala, home made salsiccia.. etc All the dishes were cooked to perfection, the delicate chefs cook each dishes start to finish, they use high quality ingredients (gentile pasta, sicilian Oregano etc) and the taste was amazing.. We had to order the foccacia bread 2 times because the sauces were so good we had to finish the dishes clean by scarpetta. It was a unique experience to dine at award winning Sicilian restaurant near Hongdae area and it did not disappoint at all, it was very pleasant enough that I wish to bring my other beloved friends and families anytime sooner when I am back...
