Genuinely annoyed. I swear the Michelin guide that this shop somehow got a spot on is either paid, or part of some scam. 25,000 won for a bowl of soup with 5 slices of beef and some rice. Beef was kinda dry, and had a shine of oil over it - indicating not fresh beef. Soup was alright, and sure they give you salt, pepper, and spring onions to taste, but for 25,000? Truly felt scammed here.

Service was great in the fact that once you ordered, food comes out, but seriously, it won't take that long to dish whatever they sold. Didn't appreciate the cashier shouting ORDER FIRST PAY FIRST THEN GET FOOD, and only pushing the 30,000 won dish to customers. Michelin guide my ass. Premium dog food more like. For 19,800 won I could be eating an all you can eat Korean BBQ. The chicken and egg onigiri at CU Mart has more flavour then this beef soup.

I see other reviews saying there's free soup and rice refill - we did not get...

This restaurants specialty is beef soup with rice. Upon walking in, we were greeted by enthusiastic and warming service, however the food itself was very poor.

The 4 of us each paid 25,000korean dollars for 1 bowl of beef soup with rice, including a few onions and kimchi. The beef itself was bland, flavourless and was not as fresh as other restaurants, the beef innards had the same issue, to the point where my entire family had to add salt and pepper provided on the table.

The broth was also very bland, and tasted like boiling water with a tiny bit of seasoning. At least the portion size was adequate for the price.

All in all, a very poor meal that was not worth the price at all. You could find much better quality of meat at other restaurants for at least half the price.

I would strongly advise not to go here unless you like...

Probably our worst meal in our 8 days trip. When you step in, they need you order and pay first as if you going run away. They will mandate each diner to order 1 main, and here comes thr tricky part. They only sell 2 dish which 2 type of korean beef soup: Normal and Special. Normal cost you about 18k Won and Special at 25k Won. We ordered 2 each and guess what, they all Taste Exactly the same! And their soup is tasteless, beef was hard and even kim chi was bland which is suprisingly bad by korean standard. Not sure how they got their Michelin and those blog recommendation but all the poor review here shows that is a place to be missed if you...

Despite the place being empty with plenty of available tables, I was not allowed to share food with my companions. The service was poor and unwelcoming. The real letdown, however, was the food. I ordered the beef soup, expecting a flavorful dish, but it turned out to be tasteless and bland. To make matters worse, the portion consisted of just three thin slices of beef. The prices were exorbitant for such a lackluster experience. Poor 3 slices of beef with water and rice cost 15,000 won. Overall, I was highly dissatisfied with the service, quality of food, and the value for money

The soup was bland, suitable for elderly. They give you pepper and salt to add to your taste, so I added quite abit of pepper and it was palatable. I found this on Michelin Guide but didn’t see any stickers in their restaurant. We went at 11am so it wasn’t crowded. Wished the service was warmer to customers. I have tasted nicer ones, richer in broth and warmer service. But I did see quite a few locals come to the restaurant when it was closer to 12pm lunch time. Anyone knows if the restaurant was sold or the Michelin Guide was another restaurant or something?
