I dont recommend. Me and my family went here for Christmas dinner, pure regret. We came here because it was famous and well known, but I really think it was overhyped. We waited in line for around 20 minutes or so, and we were greeted with one of the staff flashing us an eyeroll and were seated in a exactly 3 person table, we had a ton of bags so we had to put out bags out on the floor, already annoying. However, the part that was irritating was that many 4 person tables were seated with 2 people some even with only 1 peron. Yet we as 3 people were placed in a cramped 3 person table. A staff member accidentally pushed over our drinks and the drink poured over our bags (I had some music albums I bought a while before and thankfully they were wrapped.) We pressed the service button many times yet no response, as we raised our hand, a staff member proceeded to ignore us and roll her eyes at us. Finally, after bickering for a bit, they seated us in a 4 person table. Now, moving onto the food. We were planning on ordering 3 of their signatures and 1 extra side dish. However, even though it was only 8pm, all the side dishes and one signature were out of stock. Also the food was mediocre, overly salted and very much lacking in ingredients. Overral, don't recommend going as it really wasn't an...
Read moreSinsaeng Seolleongtang in Seoul offers an unforgettable taste experience. Known for its signature seolleongtang (Korean ox bone soup), this traditional restaurant slowly simmers beef bones for hours to create a milky-white, richly flavored broth. The soup is surprisingly light yet packed with the deep, comforting taste of bone essence. From the very first sip, the warmth and mild flavor of the broth captivate, making each spoonful irresistible.
In addition to the soup, the kimchi served here is equally remarkable. The spicy, tangy kick of Korean kimchi perfectly complements the gentle warmth of the seolleongtang. Crisp and flavorful, the kimchi adds a refreshing balance to the meal, bringing out new layers in the soup’s taste.
On a cold winter day, a steaming bowl of seolleongtang paired with crisp kimchi is the perfect comfort. This combination not only warms the body but also brings a sense of happiness to the soul, making it an essential culinary experience on any...
Read moreShinsun Seolnojgtang is my go-to spot for a satisfying bowl of Seolleongtang, and for good reason. The restaurant's commitment to quality ingredients, fast service, and a modern ambiance has made each dining experience an enjoyable one.
The standout item on the menu that has is the Myeongpum Galbi Seolleongtang, featuring succulent beef ribs. This dish takes the traditional Seolleongtang to new heights with its rich and flavors. The broth and meat sets it apart from other options in town.
I would say the normal seolnojgtang is good but you can get it cheaper elsewhere.
