I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic Korean BBQ restaurant and I couldn't be more thrilled with my experience. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the friendly staff, setting the tone for what was to be a delightful evening.

The restaurant's clean and modern ambiance immediately caught my attention, with its sleek decor and comfortable seating. Our table featured a built-in grill, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the interactive dining experience that is Korean BBQ.

The menu offered an extensive selection of high-quality meats, including marinated beef, pork, and chicken, which were all beautifully presented. The attentive waitstaff was more than happy to guide us through the menu, help us make our selections, and explain the cooking process.

Once we had made our choices, the grill was expertly set up by our server, ensuring that it heated up to the perfect temperature. The meats were then brought out, sizzling and incredibly fresh, ready for us to cook to our desired level of doneness. The aromas filling the air were absolutely mouthwatering.

The marinated beef, in particular, was a standout. The flavors were well-balanced and each bite was tender and succulent. The pork belly was also a highlight, perfectly grilled to achieve a delightful combination of crispy edges and melt-in-your-mouth fat.

Accompanying our meats were a variety of banchan (side dishes) that were continually replenished throughout the meal. From the addictive kimchi to the refreshing bean sprout salad, each dish offered a different burst of flavors that perfectly complemented the grilled meats.

Service throughout our meal was outstanding. The staff regularly checked on us, ensuring our grill stayed at the right temperature and our water glasses remained full. They were always ready to answer any questions or offer suggestions, delivering their service with a genuine and warm attitude.

Overall, this Korean BBQ restaurant truly excelled in every aspect. The quality of the food, the attentive service, and the inviting atmosphere created a memorable dining experience. Originally I went to the main shop which is around 7mins walk from this outlet. But the queue was too long there and the shop arranged a staff member to bring us to this shop and it has no queue at all here. Meat is fresh and tasty. I took the advise from the reviews here that I ordered a combo for 2 and pork with the “best” tag. They are nice! I know it’s the characteristic that the shop assistants will cook for you. However my personal preference would be I cook my food myself for Korea BBQ so that I can control my own pace. I tend to cook the meat piece by piece and have some quality chat time with the campion. Now, when the shop assistants serve you ,the pace is just too fast to me. I suspect that it’s the strategy so as to increase the customer flow (the shop assistant never asks how fast you wanna do / how well you wanna book the meat). Last but not least , if you write a review and you will get one free dish and probably it’s why there are so many reviews. When I was submitting the review, the shop assistant kept looking at my phone probably to suggest you to make 5 stars. So I submitted a review with 5 stars and I amended after the shop assistant is gone. What a marketing strategy! Last but not least , having said all these,I find it a bit pricy and even with the quality mentioned. P.s. the shop assistants speak both mandarin...

Wangbijib in Myeongdong is an absolute must-visit for anyone craving authentic Korean BBQ in Seoul! From the moment we stepped in, the lively atmosphere and the aroma of grilled meat had us excited. We ordered their signature hanwoo (premium Korean beef) – the Galbi (marinated short ribs) and Wang Sirloin – and both were phenomenal. The meat was tender, juicy, and richly marbled, cooked to perfection at our table.
