My wife and I have been staying at the resort (Parque Santiago 3) this past week and decided to have a drink here and watch the surfers as it's right on the promenade. However, we decided to eat here as it was handy so we ordered sandwiches. Big mistake.. Within a couple of hours, my wife felt tired and wanted to lie down so we went to our hotel room. The moment we arrived she said she felt like vomiting and she did, over and over. She put it down to having a few different drinks but the vomiting continued followed by diarrhoea. Within a few hours of this, I started to feel like vomiting and I did, over and over. Then the diarrhoea started and we came to the conclusion that we had food poisoning. This was one of the worst nights we've ever had. Thinking about it, we realised that the staff preparing the sandwiches and serving ice cream wore black rubber gloves, but didn't change them when serving different customers. In fact, they were wiping tables and using the till etc, and never changed the gloves. We were self catering and all we'd had to eat before this was cereal and toast, hence we concluded the food poisoning had to have come...
Read moreI would avoid this place. The staff seem to have a little scam going on. They don’t give you your change back after paying the bill. They wait a while until you get fed up of waiting so you just walk off without your change. I had sat there noticing what was going on. Came to pay my bill and waited and waited for my change until I got up went over to the waitress who took my money and asked where my change was, she literally ran away from me. So I asked a waiter and he was like where is your bill. I said that waitress took it and my money but didn’t come back with the change. So he proceeded to look for my bill which he said he couldn’t find but then gave me my change which he knew what change I needed back. I work in hospitality myself and always leave a tip. Just don’t get why they think it’s acceptable to assume the change is there’s! Bit of a joke I hope the management read this and do something about it. But I guess they will be in...
Read moreBought 3 G&Ts and shuddered at the poor quality of the gin when I tasted it. Single shot 25ml and they charged us almost €40! I had to double take the bill and I realised they had marked it down as Bombay Saffire (which I didn’t order) when it definitely was NOT. I complained and they all got very flustered and tried to tell me it was Bombay Saffire and got me to smell the bottle only confirming what I already knew. They were clearly lying.
When I didn’t order Bombay, why send me Bombay!? They said it was the standard regular gin they always served which is clearly a lie because there were many cheap gins on the shelf. And IT WASN’T Bombay Saffire!! I don’t care about the money really, just care about people ripping me off and lying to my face like I’m some sort of idiot. If I had to guess I’d say they are working a side hustle and stealing from their boss and they are all in on it. Time to fire everyone and...
