The Cheeky Turtle — Restaurant in Arona

The worse experience ever. Avoid if you can. I saw nice reviews, so I wanted to try their 'nice food'. We've ordered starters and steak for our main course. Steak came as a first, chewy and over cooked so we return it. Then as second, finnaly we got mulles, not even clean with seaweed which os disgusting. Waiting staff was aggressive, The steaks that came back served again were thrown on the table with anger. When I wanted to talk with menager, they tried to scared me and call to the police, when I've mentioned about mulles, which been taken back to the kitchen as well.

I visited many restaurants good and not really but this place I wish to forget. Honestly I prefer recommend nice places, but here when you could here when staff talking about you as the worse person, when you are more challenging customer, making bad memories. Sorry.

Located right near the popular strip for going out in Playa las Americas. However, it was in a quiet enough area where we could enjoy our dinner. Therefore, if you want to go out after this is perfect. This is a small family owned restaurant; the owner and his wife live locally. The owner himself, was the one waiting and serving us. Very kind and personable man. The food was fresh and too our liking. The cheapest cocktails I have ever encountered in Europe. However, the low price (food and drinks) did not compromise the quality.

Will return when I am back...

💰 We went for 4 night straight to Casa del Pablo, it' s a great value restaurant owned by a Swedish lady and her corky boyfriend, Franco, a really funny guy that will make you feel at home (pro tip: he' s a big Roma fan, just mention Totti and he' s gonna fall in love with you ) They are really professional, always smiling and ready to share with you tips and tricks on how to visit around.

The food is tasty and well presented, and most of all - really fresh. I ate at another restaurant before finding Casa del Pablo and I had terrible diarrea - which is not something you really want during your holiday.

Overall I can' t think of a better...
