Las Muns Urquinaona — Restaurant in Barcelona

This is an AMAZING restaurant and we're so sad they haven't branched out in the cou try where we live. We had a hard time finding affordable, vegetarian food in Barcelona as most of the cheap eats cater mainly to non vegetarians. Muns has SO MANY amazing veg options, great and affordable combos that include drinks, and even the eventual promos on special days or through specific phone apps. Great value food that leaves you satisfied and wanting more.

We ordered 6 empanaditas for the two of us and ended up taking 6 more home for after dinner and breakfast the next morning. Getting lost in a new city pays off when you find a spot like this to eat! Super simple yet spot on concept of empanadas made to go. From Meat eaters to vegertiarans. They have a little of everything you need. Small inside setting but comfy atmosphere to sit down if you wish. I came almost everyday around the same time and the young lady who helped me always greeted me with a smile and was patient with my broken Spanish/ English convos while ordering daily. Even with the language barrier she took care of me the same way every time I came into the store. I believe her name was Stephanie? None the less, the customer service was 5/5 the food...

De la inovacion a la mediocridad.

EDITO PARA RESPONDER A MUNS: “Me parece sorprendente que me habléis de incremento de precios para mantener los estándares de calidad que os cualifican; y que a la vez no me respondáis nada de dichos estándares de calidad en la falta de hielo y limón para bebidas, o el coste desmesurado del uso de una salsa de acompañamiento. Tena ajeno al echo que dicha salsas de acompañamiento las retirasteis por el covid y el distanciamiento social previo a la inflación vivida en 2022. Bueno allá vosotros si las ventas os favorecen tampoco tenéis por que prestarle atención alguna a mi comentario; pero la fidelizacion de un cliente es difícil pero mas es volver a re-fidelizarlo”

Cuando entras a un local de este estilo lo que buscas es una comida sencilla, rápida pero que sea a la altura del que se quiere pagar. Cuando tu adquieres unas empanadas a una media de 3.25 euros la empanada esperas que estén a la altura del que te ofrecen.

Pero se quedan muy lejos del que fueron y la competencia es dura y les supera en calidad ya.

Que no tenga hielo ni limón por la bebida añade puntos negativos al local. Pero es que antes del covid y por servicio ofrecían chimichurri y salsa picante gratuita; ahora te quieren cobrar por eso 1 euro.

Realmente cada vez estoy reduciendo mi frecuencia de asistencia porque su servicio cae y mucho; pero mantienen o aumentan el precio que piden por ello.

De mi cada vez van a sacarme menos a esta...
