Parking Pizza – Barcelona
Parking Pizza is easily one of the most aesthetically stunning pizzerias I’ve ever visited. Top two worldwide in terms of design, that I’ve been to. Every element feels intentional, from the entrance to the cups on the table. The space is simple yet obsessively curated, creating an atmosphere that feels both modern and welcoming.
When it comes to the food, I always test a spot by their pepperoni pizza, and here’s where it gets interesting. The base itself was nearly perfect: airy dough, balanced sauce, high-quality pepperoni. But they added fresh dill on top, which completely shifts the flavor profile. For those who don’t enjoy dill or pickle-like notes, this risks alienating half the audience on a staple dish that should be universally crowd-pleasing. In my opinion, it clashes with the whole “pepperoni narrative.”
That said, the Margherita pizza was superb. A textbook example of how simplicity done well can shine. And to finish, I was delightfully surprised by the double espresso, served in a sleek container with thick brown sugar on the side. A thoughtful and memorable detail that elevated the meal.
Overall, I’d still rate Parking Pizza as a five-star experience. It’s a must-visit in Barcelona, not only for the vibe but also for the way it redefines what a modern pizzeria can feel like. While the pepperoni isn’t in my top hierarchy, the atmosphere, service, and attention to detail make this spot stand out in the city’s...
Read moreThe pizza here is honestly the best we’ve had in Barcelona — perfectly thin crust, fresh ingredients, and that authentic wood-fired flavor that’s hard to come by. Every bite was full of rich Italian taste, and it really felt like we were dining in a little corner of Italy. But the real star of the show was the tiramisu. Hands down, it’s the best tiramisu in Barcelona — light, creamy, and just the right balance of coffee and sweetness. If you come here, make sure not to leave without trying it. It’s an absolute must!
When we first arrived, the food did take a little while to come out, and we were starting to feel a bit let down. But once we spoke with the manager, everything turned around. She was incredibly kind, attentive, and professional. She made sure everything was taken care of and went above and beyond to make it up to us. Her attitude and approach completely changed our experience, and we left feeling happy, appreciated, and well taken care of.
You can really tell that the staff cares about the quality of both the food and the service. Mistakes happen, but how they handled it showed a lot of integrity and hospitality. It turned what could’ve been a disappointing night into a lovely one.
We’ll definitely be coming back here and recommending this place to friends and family. The pizza, the tiramisu, and the service make this spot a true gem in Barcelona. Highly...
Read moreI visited Parking Pizza a few months ago with a friend, and while the food quality was generally good, there were several areas where the experience fell short. The first hiccup was the restaurant’s reservation system—their website felt misleading and cumbersome to navigate, making it difficult to secure a spot without confusion or frustration.
Once we arrived, though, the décor and overall atmosphere were undeniably Instagram-worthy. If you’re seeking a trendy spot for photos, Parking Pizza delivers with its stylish interior and clean aesthetic. However, the menu prices felt disproportionately high given the portion sizes. While the pizza itself tasted fresh and well-prepared, the cost-to-value ratio left us wishing for either larger servings or lower prices.
All in all, Parking Pizza might be a decent choice for those prioritizing ambiance and photo ops. But if you’re looking for top-notch quality at a more wallet-friendly price, you can likely find better...
