Stop searching!! I came specifically for the gluten free cakes and to work remotely from my laptop for a few hours. They have enough seats inside (4-5 tables at the bench) and another 3-4 individual tables with chairs. We ordered: 1 Holy chicken sandwich 1 Chicken and guacamole bagel 1 salted caramel 1 double chocolate cake 2 pistachios latte 1 red velvet 1 cinnamon roll
The sandwiches were delicious and they have a gluten free sandwich option and the bread was amazing. I would have eaten it plain. The problem with sandwiches is that they have few ingredients and are a bit empty, hope you can read this and try to make a change.
The gluten free cakes: all the cakes are gluten free. I appreciated that they were not super sweet, mild flavor, but delicious, balanced. The cinnamon roll wasn't hard or bready like in other places, so it had an intense flavor and went great with the pistachio latte. We both liked the other cakes, except for the red velvet cream, which for me was much too fatty/heavy, but my lover liked it and ate it. They have the option of alternative milk: almond or oats. I gave 3 stars for the serving because it was basic, not something wow and we signal once that we want them to take the empty plates from our table.
It's a place I would come weekly to have brunch and work on my laptop if I lived...
Read moreCoffee lovers in Barca - must visit! GREAT customer service to TOURISTS, DELICIOUS ice coffee, place offers WIFI as well.
Randomly decided to grab a cup of ice coffee at this coffee shop and guess what!! This was their very first day working!
I enjoyed the bright and friendly atmosphere, and amazing staff who were ready to quickly switch from local language to English, and patiently explained the choice of drinks to me (also the simple menu is conveniently placed on the wall). One of the baristas shared their experiences with coffee and what kinds they serve to their customers, which I found was lovely.
Now, as for ice coffee. I got an ice latte and asked for an additional cup of water, which they were happy to give me. Funny thing, in most places around Europe, coffees and ice drinks are only serviced with one cube of ice, which I still find very interesting! It cost an average of $4-5 to get a drink, portions are average as well.
The place offers dine-in and take-outs options, not only for drinks but simple pastries as well. Up to 10 seating places, with wifi available upon request. Also, they sell all kinds of health foods that are usually found at a organic store, that's a cute business idea (see images).
Great job guys, keep it up. Hope to visit you guys...
Read moreDisappointing…. ✨ ambiance - zero vibe, feels like sitting in a passageway. 🕺 service - they bring you the food but it took too long to wait for the coffee (I was the only customer at the time) and they make you take the cutlery by the payment machine and just tell you to find a seat and prepare the table by yourself, I know it’s a cafe but comparing to others it’s just not service that deserves a tip or applause 🫢 food - disappointing. The Holy Chicken was recommended by the server. The chicken was not “pulled” but cut into slices. The amount of the chicken was FUNNY. Overall the amount of ingredients was funny. The avocado tasted of onions (not on the list of ingredients). I was in a rush so had no time to discuss this at the moment but absolutelyyyy not...
