Queviures Serra — Restaurant in Barcelona

I don’t usually write reviews but I loved this restaurant so much that I had to praise them. We run into this restaurant accidentally on one of our first nights in Barcelona. Only after eating and looking them up we saw that they are listed as a grocery store. But they have a nice food menu and a wine list. This place was the highlight of my trip to Barcelona and a real gem. Food was perfect every time, especially the beef cheeks. The new owners really did a great job with this spot. They kept the classic character of a quality historic grocer while adding a well curated food menu and wine selection. It’s a fun neighborhood cafe to casually share a drink, a snack or even a full meal. And even though it’s casual the quality is really excellent. So disappointed by this place. The waitress with curly hair was so incredibly rude and gave us horrible service. She even turned down a massive party who went somewhere else due to her rudeness towards foreigners. She was too busy speaking to her friends at other tables to bring out a simple drink, even though the restaurant was fairly empty.
