We had a wonderful New Years Eve dinner here! Our family of 5 was happy across the board. Real Argentinians serving authentic food that they are proud of. Everything was great. The Pao de Queso was a great start and made with yucca making it a bit different from its Brazilian counterpart. Appetizers of sausage, both Argentinian and blood, were fantastic, as was the grilled cheese topped with Arugula. Our Steak Eye was perfectly cooked and topped with an appropriately generous amount of rock salt. The Malbec was great and the cocktail list was really different. Read moreThe experience didn’t quite meet my expectations – it was fine for one night, but I wouldn’t go back. For starters, we had the cheese and meat empanadas, both of which were delicious. For the main course, we ordered two cuts of meat: ojo de bife and entraña. Unfortunately, both were a bit chewy, even though we asked for them medium-rare. The fries were just okay in taste, but disappointing overall since they were mostly small, broken pieces like you’d find at the bottom of a bag. Fogata Madrid is an exceptional restaurant with a stunning interior design. The ambiance is warm and inviting, making it a perfect place for a great dining experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and speaks excellent English, which makes the experience even more enjoyable.
The main course, especially the meat, was outstanding, and the side dishes complemented it perfectly. If you’re visiting, don’t leave without trying the chocolate dessert – it’s absolutely amazing!
