The food was excellent, and we genuinely enjoyed the quality of the dishes. However, the service did not match the same standard. I would have expected a more welcoming and attentive approach from the staff.

We arrived as a group of four without a reservation and noticed several free tables, yet there seemed to be little willingness to accommodate us by joining tables. It took some insistence on our part before a solution was offered, which left a less-than-positive impression.

Wanted to go in for a quick bite but the male host quickly pushed us away saying they were completely full and didn’t have space if we didn’t have a reservation - even though there were open tables. We asked if we can order takeout, and he said yes and walked off without helping. We approached another female server later who ended up sitting us down saying they did have space. Some of the servers were dismissive and cold to only us, but were very friendly and approachable to the other customers. We were stared at a lot too while eating. We arrived with the idea of trying some different, ham was not in our agenda that day…the staff without pressuring us, served an outstanding beef carpaccio, and veal meatballs not in the menu, we opened the house bottle of wine that was on the table, outstanding ¨Cepa Gavilan¨ then, as the conversation continued we got invited to the cellar to view the ham collections, and that was it…love strike….I can tell you, this is definitely the best ham I’ve tried !
