Sibuya Urban Sushi Bar — Restaurant in Madrid

If you're an actual sushi lover and knows what good sushi taste like, I can not recommend this place at all. I'm sorry.

Curry Udon - This does not represent the taste of Japanese curry at all. It was too sweet. Tasted more like Indian Curry.

Tiradito de Salmon - Can't even taste the salmon and has a weird texture. Sauce is waaay too salty

Sashimi mix special - Was ok overall. Not the best salmon

Soft shell Roll - Flames only for show. Soggy rice and soggy tempura. Waaay too salty sauce. Didn't even finish the dish.

Nigiri special - Might actually get food poisoning from the eel. It had a foul and sour taste. The texture was like rubber, which is not how eel is supposed to be! This made me spit it out, and I almost never spit out food. Sushi rice is not supposed to be cold!!

Overall just an extremely disappointing experience and a disgrace against sushi...

The mobile menu was relatively straightforward, with pictures and filtering by allergens. We filtered the menu by gluten-free options, and we got a few dishes that we liked, but there were not so many to choose from. The rolls that we ordered were tasty. Not something that we didn't try before, but tasty. They had gluten-free soy sauce, which is not trivial. The staff was friendly, not high but pleasant. The restaurant itself is charming organized, and decorated. The prices were not too high, but a bit over their level, maybe. And, the most annoying thing - they charged extra because we asked for extra spicy mayo. I don't think it's ok, but maybe it's normal here. I don't use to pay extra on the sauce. I was really looking forward to trying this place. But my experience at the Justicia branch was incredibly disappointing. The woman who said she was the manager was rude, dismissive, and made us feel completely unwelcome!! (She kicked us out even though the restaurant was open and the door as well, but said we are not ready Yet!) the after waiting outside for 10 minutes, she refused to seat us!!! even though the restaurant was empty (she claimed it was fully booked) and we had a reservation for later that night. (We came back after 30 minutes, the tables were still empty!).
