The food at Mesón O’Luar was fantastic! The seafood paella was out of this world absolutely delicious and packed with fresh, flavorful seafood. The tuna belly salad was also great with fresh tomatoes and fatty tuna belly, love it! The meat platter was just as impressive, with good-quality cuts that’s not overly salty.The service was okay as they don’t really speak english, but the atmosphere had a welcoming, authentic Spanish charm. We also ordered a lot of drinks to go with the food. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re looking for great food and a memorable dining experience. Will be back for sure to try the rest of the tapas menu!

Muy buen restaurante, muy buena relación calidad precio, y excelente ubicación. Una joya escondida no muy invadida por el turismo. La comida típica de tasca, pedimos unas croquetas, riquísimas, si no son caseras por favor respóndeme con la marca, para que pueda comprarlas, que melosidad, que tropezones, que sabor y con su toquecito de nuez moscada, increíbles vaya. También unos huevos rotos, muy ricos con el jamon de calidad, nada de sobre de charcutería, con unas patatas fritas caseras (lo único que me sobraba es aceite, pero se soluciona dejando escurrir las papas) y el huevo revuelto pero sin cuajar, no se cómo consiguió eso, pero se agradece porque eso de romper en la mesa los huevos para mezclarlos es una desgracia (lo siento, pero es más fácil si te los dan rotos, en lugar de "por romper"). Y una fritura de pescado, todo bien y además se notaba poco aceitoso, los calamares un poco chungos pero el resto muy rico y al punto de sal. En resumen, ya tengo un must para cuando vaya al centro.

The staffs are mostly senior but very quick serving and friendly. I order paella mix the taste is so good.. seafood is freah and sweet. Price worth the taste. Looks like this reataurante has been serving for many years, they keep the fabric table cloths very clean and change for every customers.

WARNING!! DO NOT GO HERE! I just had the worst lunch ever, first things first they billed us for some kind of other menu than the one on the wall. And the food is some of the most disgusting things I’ve ever eaten. For someone who knows a bit about food and have eaten a good of amount of tapas, I would call myself I valid critique. The jamon croquettes had this weird after taste and were just mushy and nasty. The pulpo wasn’t that good just tasted like the sea and with way too much paprika powder, and 22€!? The tortilla espanol was way too watery and cold, and to top it if they heated it up in the microwave before that. And not even the bravas were good, way too soft and the bravas sauce also hade a weird aftertaste. Hope I don’t get sick, I would not even recommend this place to my worst...

We went to O'Luar tonight and ordered grilled octopus, jarmón and garlic grilled shrimps. As an asian, my overall experience was disappointing. Garlic grillied shrimps have decent flavor, no extra comment on that. Jarmón is, very fatty. I understand that it comes with some portion of fat, but the one we were offered has so much of it that we had to pick out most of the fat to eat it. Grilled octopus is not edible at all. Rubbery, slimy and very salty. I could tell that it has been carelessly...
