Terrible experience. I ordered a fish dish by pointing at the menu clearly, but after some failed communication, they served me with a huge plate of bread. I thought the bread was a gift and waited for 30 minutes, then they told me the fish was not available! Come on, if you don't speak English and you know I obviousely don't speak your language, why don't you point at the menu to tell me what I ordered was not available? And why did you serve the bread plate without asking me??? Who told you I like bread? Really disappointing. Finally, why do you even bother to have a ENGLISH MENU if you don't daxx speak it? Incredible.

Responding to the onwer's reply: First of all, you should have told me clearly by showing me the menu that the fish is not available, especially as you know I don't speak Spanish. Your staff was not considerate and did not do his job well.

Secondly, your menu English is wrong, look at the starter, what is a mouse?? I laughed at it and ordered it assuming you meant mussel. Lmao. And how possible that I know it is a full plate of hard bread?

Last but not least, a seafood restaurant does not have fish,...

I chose a restaurant for dinner according to reviews. They wrote that the portions are large, but we eat very little, so we decided to start with one menu del dia for two and an extra drink. When we were brought one plate and one set of cutlery, I asked the waiter what was going on. He said that the menu del dia is only for one person, and if I want additional cutlery, I must order something else from the ala carte menu, since they are very unprofitable with such orders, and the tablecloth and dishes washing after us costs more than our lunch for two. It was very unpleasant, we refused the additional order. It seems they felt ashamed later and they brought one more plate and a fork. The food was rather average (overdried trout), which is strange for a restaurant, whose specialty are seafood. I can not say that it was quite tasteless, but because of the spoiled mood, the appetite completely disappeared. This was the only place in Spain where we met with a similar service. Can't...

The food was quite boring, but worst of all my lamb chops were not even hot. They were clearly not freshly cooked, it seemed like they microwaved the leftovers from the day before. There were parts that were still a bit cold even. 16€ for that was just way way too much. My partner's shrimps in oil were much tastier, but arrived only after I had already finished my plate and there were so few shrimps, it was a shame for the price. The vegetables we ordered as a side were just a mush of green beans, quite tasteless as well. To be fair, we arrived quite early, just about 5 minutes after opening. But the waiter did not tell us that that's too early or anything. I mean, we would have waited for the food to be...

The mixed paella we had here was delicious, we both enjoyed it so much. The croquetas and padron peppers were great also. We loved our desserts, the chuppa chip ice cream was such a treat and the basque cheesecake was fantastic! The service was fantastic, Pablo was so friendly and tried his best with his limited English. There wasn’t many people when we went so the atmosphere wasn’t there but it seemed there were a lot of locals there so we felt we had a local experience which was great. Would highly recommend eating here, particularly the paella!
