We stopped by Smok Mok today for a quick bite and were pleasantly surprised. It is located toward the very back of an Asian street food area, and it’s worth it.
I ordered the spicy chicken wings for 10 euros and they were delicious. The flavor was bold, with a strong mix of sweet, salty, and spicy. The heat level was just right – intense but not overwhelming. The portion size was good, and the wings were generously coated in sauce. Not too much, not too little, just the perfect balance for flavor and texture.
Service was fast and very friendly. The food was prepared quickly, and everything felt fresh and made to order. You can pay by card or cash, which is always a plus.
Overall, Smok Mok is a solid choice if you’re craving something spicy and flavorful. It’s not a full restaurant but perfect for a satisfying street food-style snack. We would definitely come again and try more items on the...
Read moreThe food here is great. We tried three dishes from its limited menu. The smoked pork was delicious. The food is clever modern Spanish Tapas. Very hard to find as it is down the end of a food market and is not obvious. It shares the tables and chairs with a couple of other food venues and there are two bars at either end of this skinny little food market. It was close to our hotel (Hotel Cortezo) but it was further down the street on the opposite side of the road. There are two bars at either end of a skinny little food hall with three or four food venue options as well as Smok Mok. You will see it’s sign as you go down down the steps to another bar at the very end of the market. The entire market was closed on Monday night when we decided to revisit to try Smok Moks other delights. We walked past a graffitied door several times before we realised it was the closed door to the markets...

The standout feature of this place is Adan, the humble and skilled chef, welcomed us warmly, beaming with pride over his menu.
The chicken wings were stellar, especially when ordered spicy to taste. However, the slow cooked fir 6hrs+ ribs were truly exceptional, boasting a melt-in-your-mouth tenderness complemented perfectly by their homemade sauce and rice. Visit this place and try for yourself. Say hi to Adan and ask him...
