Oh, Madrid, dear Madrid! How you tantalize our taste buds with your delightful tapas and endless servings of Serrano Ham. But alas, even the most passionate affair can leave one longing for a change of flavor. That's when Sushita Cafe, like a culinary knight in shining armor, comes to the rescue. Nestled in the heart of Chamberi neighborhood, Sushita Cafe is a magical crossroads where Spain and Japan lock chopsticks and embrace in a flavorful dance. The result? A symphony of taste that celebrates the best of both worlds, leaving your palate twirling with joy. As I stepped into this enchanting realm, I couldn't help but admire its eclectic ambiance. No, it's not your typical Japanese or Spanish decor; it's cooler than the flip side of a sushi roll. Tropical boho vibes envelop the dining room, creating an oasis of relaxation while woven basket light fixtures gracefully suspended from above cast a warm glow that elevates your meal to a celestial experience. The food is nothing short of fantastic. Each bite tells a tale of meticulous craftsmanship and flavor finesse. The flavors dance on your tongue like flamenco dancers, leaving you in awe of their well-developed composition. What truly sets Sushita Cafe apart is its ingenious fusion of traditional Asian dishes with the staples of Spanish cuisine. Picture this: foie and solomillo nigiri—a match made in culinary heaven, where delicate slices of rich foie gras cozy up to tender Spanish sirloin. Or how about a delightful twist on steak tartare? Here, it takes center stage atop a bed of crunchy rice, creating a symphony of textures that'll make your taste buds tango with delight. So, my dear gastronomic adventurers, if you find yourself in Madrid and your palate craves a respite from the tapas-tastic frenzy, head straight to Sushita Cafe. It's a place where the vibrant spirit of Spain meets the graceful allure of Japan, resulting in an experience that will leave you craving more. Prepare to be bewitched, tantalized, and utterly delighted by a fusion of flavors that'll make your taste buds applaud in unison.

Wow, great place to celebrate and adorable decor! Went here for my friends birthday dinner and I would definitely say they’re comparable to US prices for sushi but good quality. I usually stay away from sushi in Europe as I am from California and I definitely think that it is not always good but this restaurant changed my mind! the only role we did with lemon and it was very overpowering, which made it taste. The rest of the rules were great, especially my favorite foie that came with caramel sugar and raspberries that creation I have never tried with sushi. They also had a beautiful cake upon the birthday one of the best I’ve seen in Madrid! They also had a great selection of cocktails and drinks.

Sushita Café is that perfect fusión of two cuisines that just works out great. The food is fantastic and the restaurant has the perfect setting. Great seating options indoors and outdoors. Portions are large (jasmine is rice and tempura prawn starters are a must), along with a rarely seen great selection of non alcoholic cocktails. The only reason I'd give it 4 stars is because of the hostess, who was really bad at trying to hide her complete lack of interest in taking our order or attending us. We had lunch close to 5pm, so the hostess really seemed like she didn't want to be there. Service is general give or take, in Madrid and I would definitely return for the food.

Mixed Experience. My recent visit to Sushita Café Restaurant left me with mixed feelings, and I feel compelled to share both the positives and negatives of my experience.

Let me begin with the positives. The food at Sushita Café was truly excellent – kudos to the talented chefs who crafted dishes that were not only original but also delicious, spicy, and beautifully presented. The timely service at our table was satisfactory, and our waitress was friendly and accommodating. The music was played by a really good DJ good vibes & good volume to still enjoy food & talk. I also had the pleasure of meeting Natasha, the manager, who exuded warmth and enthusiasm.

However, my positive impressions were marred by significant issues with the front-of-house staff. The hostesses and the floor manager displayed a lack of professionalism that greatly impacted our overall experience. Despite having a reservation, we were left waiting outside in the cold rain for a disconcerting 20 minutes with no updates on the status of our table. This lack of communication was disheartening. To make matters worse, I had the unfortunate experience of overhearing the floor manager speaking disparagingly about my friends and I while we were seated nearby.

As someone who works in customer service, I was genuinely shocked by this unprofessionalism and, consequently, left deeply disappointed. Adding to the disappointment was the absence of any apology or acknowledgment of the inconveniences we faced. In my opinion, a sincere apology and an effort to rectify the situation could have gone a long way in mitigating the negative impact of the evening.

In conclusion, while the culinary aspect of Sushita Café deserves praise, the overall experience was marred by the unprofessional behavior of certain staff members. I sincerely hope that this was an isolated incident and not indicative of a broader issue at the...

We reserved a table for four on October 6th at 1:45 PM. The food was excellent, but unfortunately, the service did not meet our expectations. While we were enjoying our meal, the waiter accidentally tipped a saucer of soy sauce onto my husband’s back, leaving his shirt completely stained.

The waiter promptly informed the manager, which we appreciated, and they attended to us right away. However, I still had to help my husband clean up and he spent the whole afternoon smelling like soy sauce.

When the bill arrived, I was disappointed to see that no gesture was made to address the inconvenience. At a restaurant of this caliber, it would have been a considerate and standard practice to offer a complimentary dessert as a...
