Let me start by saying that my family has had a wonderful visit to Madrid- a great city with wonderful people. We went to this particular restaurant on a recommendation from a local and could not have had a worse experience. Started out when we arrived and asked to wait for an outdoor table. We waited approximately 10 minutes (not a big deal) when a friendly staff member told us our table was ready and started to set it up when another gentleman, possibly the manager, rushed outside and had words for the gentleman setting up our table. The manager then informed us in Spanish (my Spanish is very weak) that we could not sit at the table and had to sit indoors (this particular table sat empty the entire time we were there). We proceeded to follow them inside to a table and were eventually greeted by a waiter who was not friendly in the least. I ordered everything in Spanish as best and politely as I could. All of my company’s food but mine arrived in a relatively timely manner at which point the waiter asked me what I had ordered. He had obviously forgot to put my prefer in. Fast forward and my party had finished their meals and still no sign of my fish tacos. Nobody from the staff came by to explain the situation and after 20 minutes or so I got up and told the manager that I was ready to settle up. The manager had quite an attitude at this point. In any event I can not recommend this place - not really sure what happened but I will not be back especially with all of the amazing dining experiences to be had in...
Read moreWent for a dinner with several friend after we got reccommendations for the Margaritas.
Service - First we ordered drinks but the waitress brought all except mine, and had to wait like 15 min to get my beer. We were 6 people and they just brought one set of sauces and didn't bother to bring another set so everyone can try it, even when we ran out. Later we had to ask a few time for the same things on different occasions. The servers were nice but not very profesional.
Food - "meh" would be the best way to describe it. The meet quesadilla were decent, baja tacos flavorless, guacamole was the tiniest ever, pastor tacos were hedious, margaritas were good.
They had a Mariachi band the sang pretty nice, but the acoustics at the restaurant is horrible and it was so loud you couldn't even hear the person right next to me you. We literally had to shut up until they were done.
Vale for money - an average of of 4 euros per taco is quite expensive l, especially for this quality so 3/10.
Won't be back as there are way better Mexican restaurants in Madrid for...
