Andres Cosmopolis — Restaurant in Palma

Stopped here for dinner at a quiet time of the year. We chose the 8 tapas for €49, the chef chooses the tapas for this fixed price menu option. We had delicious artichokes hearts with melted cheese, potatoes roasted with a garlic and paprika dressing, prawns in garlic and red chilli, beetroot carpaccio with a torched goats cheese, pine nuts and fig dressing. Pickled beef carpaccio with rocket and grated cheese, lean roast beef with an anchovy and olive dressing, croquettes and garlic mushrooms. The food quality was excellent and it was plenty for two people for dinner. We followed with an affogato each and drank a recommended bottle of white wine with dinner. Excellent. Had menu del dia , ( is served until 18), three courses at around 19 euro. The tomato carpaccio was so tasty and rich , no need for meat!!! The fish of the day was so so well cooked, not dry and boring at all, and so good with no need of any sauce just lemon, perfect! Also the lentils were tasty and went well with the fish, and the potatoes-how is it possible to cook them so good, they are just potatoes. Amazing experience!! We were spending NYE with my family and they were able to make room for an additional table although they were booked. They even modified the menu to make it gluten and dairy free. They were super polite and paid extra attention to guarantee the dietary restrictions. Special thanks to Joan for his warm heart.
