I occasionally visit this lovely Italian restaurant in Santa Catalina, and it’s always a comforting experience. As a chef has lived in Italy, I’m not easily impressed, but this place delivers. They specialize in fresh pasta, offering a variety of classic dishes like bolognese and carbonara, prepared simply and very well. They also have seafood and vegetarian options, ensuring there’s something for everyone. They have a very friendly menu that compresses your drink and your pasta your drink your pasta and your dessert you get to choose.
The beauty of this place lies in its simplicity—homely, delicious, and full of authentic flavor. The portion sizes are decent, making it easy to enjoy more than one dish if you’re hungry. The atmosphere is warm, inviting, and quite cute—perfect for a casual meal with family, a dinner with friends, or a cozy date night with your partner, without hours of waiting as your pasta will be on your table within five minutes
They have a small but well-chosen selection of wines that pair nicely with their pasta dishes. The staff is friendly and welcoming, adding to the homey vibe of the place. Overall, it’s a wonderful spot for anyone looking for traditional Italian comfort food in a cozy, setting.” don’t miss it and make sure you say hi to his...
Read moreWow! Stumbled across Bendito Gusto on a walk and had great expectations due the previous reviews. It was just as great as the others has written. We arrived at 18.30 and there was no issue finding a table (to my GREAT surprise, as I would expect it to be a line outside in regard of the food...). Lovely atmosphere with boarding games on the table and with unique posters on the wall. Genuine food made with love, and the staff was so polite making sure that we were satisfied. The concept of picking pasta and the sauce is so clever. I can't figure out how it can be affordable? Low prices AND tasty food of great quality? We tried the mushroom sauce which was filled with flavours and then the amatriciana which also was nice. But best of all was the tiramisu, it was to DIE FOR! So even if you pass by just by accident and isn't so hungry I still recommend a visit just for grabbing the tiramisu. Rich coffee flavour with generous amount of mascarpone. We loved it so much that we went back later the very same night after some beers, for a late night snack. I paid 15 euros for a meal, a beer AND the tiramisu. I dare you to find a better, more affordable, place...
Read moreWow! We felt so lucky to stumble upon Bendito Gusto while wandering around the streets of the Santa Catalina district in Palma. We passed a lot of pretentious looking restaurants but found BG to be homey, down-to-earth, and authentic. Our predictions were right on! The restaurant is charming and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. I could tell by the menu and display of fresh, handmade pasta that this place was legit. The food did not disappoint. As a Canadian of Italian heritage, I was blown away by the authentic flavours of the Napolitana and Bolognese sauces. We thoroughly enjoyed our pasta dinner and the capped a fantastic dining experience with a delicious cheesecake. Then came the bill. We could not believe how inexpensive such a high quality meal was, especially in Palma! This was easily one of the best meals we had anywhere in Spain during our 3.5 week vacation and I highly recommend you eat here. If I lived in Palma, there is no question pasta from Bendito Gusto would be a weekly staple. I wish Bendito Gusto much success and hope that it is around for a...
