Visited Cala Major beach on a final day of a Palma city break in March 25 following a recommendation from our hotel staff. Beach has golden sand and is lovely, albeit the sea was a little chilly at this time of the year of course.

Was expecting lots of beach bars and places to eat however the only place there is Kokomo. Initially, we were just going to have a quick drink and wander elsewhere, however the outdoor seating, complete with surfboard tables was just a little too inviting and my wife and I stayed for several hours!

Drinks and food menu is all available to view from their website and there is a QR code on the tables to quickly scan. Prices were a little on the expensive side and with very limited food options, so at first we were put off staying for food. However, seeing the orders for others coming past and the smell of the food, in particular the pizzas and nachos was just too tempting to ignore.

The place got very busy as the mid afternoon went on. Many others like us stayed to just drink and chill in the sun.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, however as the tables got busier and busier they did sort of get a little confused and mixed up orders a little, but this should not put you off visiting.

The pizza was amazing as were the nachos, so worth paying the little extra for and the seas views of course.

If you visit this beach then this is really the only option on to wine and dine at but worth it. Would imagine it gets very busy in the summer season.

Their white sangria was well...

If you are looking for a great beach club close to Palma city to enjoy great food, fresh cocktails while listening good music in a astonishing spot, then you have to go to Kokomo!

They've changed ownership and the place has improved massively. First, the restaurant is really well decorated right by the beach. We sat down for 4 hours and we could go for a swim as the sea is literally 10 metres away from the table.

The staff was really nice and looked after us all the time. Cocktails were beautiful and tasty. Food was beautifully presented in good quantity (not to mention the quality of the burgers!!!). Quality/ price was more than correct compared to other beach clubs in the area and assuming its premium location.

As a plus, they play really good tunes that made our stay unique. We will definitely come back!...

Well, lovely location that’s for sure and lovely service in the actual restaurant/ bar. However I called to book a table and the lady that answered was almost like not bothered to talk to me, was very short with words and very “cold”. We have ordered potatoe omelette as a started and to my surprise it came with some eggshells inside, regardless if you do not mind some eggshells the omelette was OK. Then we ordered salmon tartare, not really impressed by it. Big chunks, nothing crunchy to go with it, apart of the lovely cucumber. Lastly we ordered burger, it was nice :) however, service was very impressive, extremely quick and regardless what I said about the food, my boyfriend did eat everything, he didn’t mind the...

We sat outside and ordered drinks around four in the afternoon. Atmosphere: Nice spot right on the beach, unintrusive electronic beach music playing. Prices: Piña Colada €8.5 (rather small and mostly foam), Still water (0.5l) €2.50. Service: Only two servers with most outside tables full, and since the other reviews seem happy with service, I assume they were understaffed when we stopped by. Service was patient and polite, but rather slow to get resupplied with more drinks. Getting the check took a bit longer than comfortable, but not annoyingly long.
