Grill Corner Sevilla — Restaurant in Seville

I typically write reviews on places a find impressive. Unfortunately today, as I’m sitting in the restaurant, I have to say this was an awful experience from the get go. It took them 20 minutes for them bring out water, the food was well below average. Not to mention that the service towards tourists was almost not existent. Locals were being more attended too, tourist around us seemed to be getting terrible service as well. It’s pretty hard to mess up a burger, but man did this place take the cake with this one. It tasted like cardboard with BBQ sauce. Chicken was overseasoned and the lasagna tasted like expired cheese. Please avoid eating here. They mess up dishes that are very easy to cook. I am about to go clean my taste buds out at the local coffee shop across the street, because believe me when i say this, those sandwiches from the coffee shop, taste miles better than the dog water I just ate at the Grill Conner. I never leave reviews but this was too bad an experience. I was seated in a section with another family and we were basically forgotten about. I received my menu but after 25 minutes, my order was taken by an overworked waiter. Sweating and apologetic. His machine to take the orders was in Spanish so with my English menu, he couldn’t find what I wanted. He finally took the order and quickly moved away. I received a glass of wine and then now after being seated 1hr10mins, received my starter. Gone in minutes. That dish was taken away 15 mins after I finished and my main came. Food wasn’t great. A bit of a mix-bag with this one I’m afraid. The restaurant itself is very nice, well done out with a nice atmospheric decor. Our waiter/server was a nice guy (didn’t get his name, sounded a little American but also Spanish) very polite and friendly, can’t fault him. My wife ordered a chicken salad which she said was the best salad she’s ever had! I ordered a steak with Chimichuri and fries. The fries were cold, and the steak was also only luke-warm. It was cooked nicely but very tough, a bad/cheap cut.

The price was reasonable however.

Access for wheelchairs is good as there is a ramp inside...
