Seville is full of great food, but this place gave us two of our favourite meals of the trip! We found it near the end of our 2 week holiday and loved it so much we went back on our last day. From the moment we walked into this cute cafe to the moment we left, we felt welcomed and cared for.
The service was calm, kind, and quick. The second time we ate here, there were no available tables inside, so we sat outside. It was a bit chilly, but we were thankful. However, a few minutes later, just as the waitress was coming to take our order, a table had become free inside and we were asked if we wanted to move in. It was a very kind gesture which we took up immediately. Sometimes as a tourist you can feel a little undervalued, like you might not get the same attentive service as one of their regulars or you might get seated beside the noisy clearing station (Something that happened quite a bit during our trip.). But here there is none of that. We felt valued and appreciated and it was honestly so heart warming.
The food was as pretty as a picture and tasted amazing. We ordered an Acai Bowl and Eggs Andaluz - both were fantastic!
The setting is rustic and cosy, whilst still giving light and airy boho vibes. The overall atmosphere is easy and friendly.
La Comissura is wonderful. It feels like a firm favourite amongst locals and in turn makes you feel at home. My only regret is not having enough room for waffles and a smoothie, but I'll be sure to make...
Read moreI’ll start with the good - the waitress/waiters are amazing and friendly. The food is well presented and fresh. Sadly the kitchen management let’s the restaurant down as the wait time for food was close to 40 minutes... for a sandwich (literally a slice of turkey between 2 pieces of bread) and the Eggs Benedict came with a single egg that still had uncooked egg white. I didn’t ask for it to be redone as I didn’t want to wait again.
We ended us spending almost 2 hours here of which most of it was waiting without any food or drink.
I’d definitely recommend anyone to come here for some brunch but expect long waiting times. I also hope this review can help management fix their cooking...
Read moreWe had breakfast here three days during our stay in Sevilla - this is one of the nicest and best cafés we ever went to. Highly recommended! Their fruit bowls are very fresh and tasty, as well as their smoothies and all their tostadas; especially the one with salmon and avocado! :)
They also have fresh juice and simply heavenly sweet treats. We recommend the pancakes and especially their brioche con mermelada. Ate both two times because they are so delicious!
In addition to that, the service is outstanding: super nice, always smiling and available for a quick chat about Sevilla and España :D We will miss this place and hope to come back! Thank you Anna, Catarina and Simon for the...
